No. My vehicle is at 61k miles. I do have the Premium Extended warranty but it doesn’t cover the battery. Yesterday I asked for it be replaced according to the recall. Hopefully, other people can now get reimbursed or get replacement batteries through Ford without spending their own money...

Gallatin Ford replaced the battery per the recall…..see paperwork below. They replaced it with a 3 year Motorcraft AGM battery…..

I figure the same but I’m trying to push them to do it rather than pay out of pocket and wait to be reimbursed.

Has anyone had their battery replaced per the recall? My OE lead acid battery died over the weekend and I’m well past the point of warranty replacement. The dealership told me the recall is still in the “advanced notice” stage and no further info has been provided to them regarding the recall...

But I suppose an electric winch line could snap, come through the windshield and take your head off too. ??‍♂️ Just like anything else, the risk adds to the thrill of the experience ?

I’m not big on the idea of being cut in half with a large cheese wire either.

Can a simple 3 ton cable puller winch connected to tow hooks be used with proper cables and straps? we call it a “come along” in these parts….

I was under the impression BS only supported a class 2 hitch….Badlands tow weight limit is 2200 lbs. I use it mine to pull a dual jet skis regularly in the summer. I've been tempted to try pulling a 20ish foot fiberglass bass boat with an outboard a short distance to the lake but keep shying...

I’ve often wondered if a larger aftermarket turbocharger could be used to replace the OEM turbo….

Does anyone know if the tilt meter auto adjusts for the new center of gravity based on the installed lift kit? Is it preprogrammed based on the OEM height? Can this be adjusted using FORScan? is there a formula to calculate the wheel offset needed to maintain the same center of gravity?

I’ve been considerbig getting their 3” lift. I’m sure I’ll do it soon…
