  1. Fordpass App 5.14.0 (iPhone, not sure about Android)

I've only found lock and unlock. Sadly, upon further testing it requires your device to be unlocked, which kind of defeats the purpose. I guess I could set up the automation on my wall mounted home automation iPad, which is always screen on and unlocked.
  2. Fordpass App 5.14.0 (iPhone, not sure about Android)

Not sure when it was introduced, but seems the FordPass app now supports shortcut automations. I can create an iOS automation to launch the app and send a lock command in case I forget to lock the doors at night.
  3. SiriusXM [redacted] Ads - Sync 4

Thanks. I disabled SiriusXM 360L. I'll change the presets when I figure out how to find it since there are no physical buttons on BS BB Sync 4. I seem to recall there might be a way via Forscan.
  4. SiriusXM [redacted] Ads - Sync 4

I will never pay a monthly recurring extortion fee for SiriusXM. When I get into my vehicle, even though CarPlay was the last used audio source, the audio source sometimes switches to a SiriusXM ad with a telephone number and it is a PITA to get it to stop and switch back to CarPlay Is there...
  5. Auto Start/Stop Technique

I wonder how it would hold up in court if you tried to use "auto hold failed to engage" as your defense if you rear ended the vehicle in front of you or hit a pedestrian crossing the street. Good luck with that.
  6. Auto Start/Stop Technique

Where is the fun in that?
  7. Auto Start/Stop Technique

I base that on the following documentation reportedly issued by Ford to dealers, but whatever. https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/attachments/2025-bronco-sport-order-guide-pdf.49775/
  8. Auto Start/Stop Technique

The biggest '25 BB differences I have been able to determine are: New MPC engine Digital cluster standard Ford Co-Pilot360 standard Sync 4A 13.2 inch display standard Not sure if any of those drive Forscan differences.
  9. Auto Start/Stop Technique

@cprcubed BACKGROUND Forscan 2.3.65 has been updated to support '25 model year vehicles, including the BS. I was able to permanently disable A.S.S. using Forscan. No errors or warnings on divers display. Confirmed it is PSCM PID 730-03-01, but Forscan provides an easy to find text...
  10. Garage door opener

Bought a '24 BS Homelink sun visor for $75 off evilBay from a breakers yard. Had a few grease smudges on it from whom ever removed it from the original vehicle, but easily cleaned up with some interior cleaner. Plastic trim removal tool, Torex T20, removed old visor, installed in my '25 BS BB...

  12. Confirmed ✔ 2025 Bronco Sport gets new MPC Engines

Does the new 1.5L MPC engine have a timing chain or the ill fated oil soaked timing belt? https://www.timingbeltinfo.com/ford-bronco
  13. Auto Start/Stop Technique

ASS is the worst feature for emissions. When I worked for Ford it was already confirmed 90% of the emissions occurs in the first 2 minutes of engine operation until the cat reaches temperature. ASS puts more wear on battery, starter, stops lubrication and cooling system. Not to mention the...
  14. Confirmed ✔ 2025 Bronco Sport gets new MPC Engines

I am hoping the 2025 MPC does it suffer from the problems Ford is currently facing recalls and several class action lawsuits. X-plan with an ultra low mileage lease. If it turns out to be reliable I can always buy it. Otherwise, I can walk away and get a new vehicle.

  16. Confirmed ✔ 2025 Bronco Sport gets new MPC Engines

Thanks. The dealer was trying to sell me a 2024 “curiosity” vehicle with 2500 miles. We all know the scam of “curiosity” vehicles. I said I read there were too many issues with the older model year engines and wanted a 2025 with the newer MPC engine after reading this forum. Also comes with...
  17. Confirmed ✔ 2025 Bronco Sport gets new MPC Engines

Just got a 2025 1.5L. Is this the new MPC engine? Is it dual injection, thus will not have intake valve fouling and other problems of the previous engines? Whenever I plug my VIN into a decoder it lists engine as Dragon.
