All these images clearly target an outdoorsy crowd, but ground clearance does not look any different than a typical family car. Now I know the Bronco Sport doesn't have insane ground clearance or anything, but this looks like it would not be useful for anything other than gravel and very light...
Just in case anyone is curious, the weathertech liners do cover the area under the gas pedal completely. That's the main reason I went weathertech over the Ford liners
I have also seen a ton of posts about how they are too hot. Maybe my badlands is just a special snowflake because mine are just perfect. But it's also been consistently under 15 F since I took delivery. If you live somewhere where it like never gets much below freezing, then yeah I could see how...
100% that's what it is. Until I see it actually installed on a vehicle I won't be too interested. But I'm also absolutely not interested in losing my recovery hooks and I have yet to see any nudge bar that keeps them in place so my expectations are pretty low
I also went with weathertech, just installed them on Monday. Really happy with them, they fit great and they are tough. My badlands came only with carpet mats, but I never even took them out of the bag
I also wanted to balance out the symmetry so I went with the OEM black badge from the big bronco. I'm sure the big bronco folks will cry foul but whatever. The bucking bronco image is literally everywhere inside the vehicle, so why not on the rear end ?‍♂️
and then what are you gonna do, super glue it to the roof? Hit it with a nail gun maybe? you seem pretty uninterested in reality, only trying to be right. when you are not.
Platform $850
Mounting Towers $245
Crossbar clamp $100
I desperately wish that I had nothing to add to this thread. Regrettably, I do...
My Badlands was delivered today. And it was delivered with a bullet wound. This is on the roof near the rear of the vehicle:
Unfortunately, the dang thing sat at the Chicago rail yard for 3 weeks before it was...
I wish that were correct, but it is not. Yakima LockNLoad Platform that fits the bronco sport is $800, plus a set of 4 timberline towers needed to mount it ($245) and 4 mounting adapters ($40) = total of $1085.
Even if you have cheap crossbars from Amazon or something and don't need the...
I was hoping the same. However, mine was scheduled for delivery the week after Christmas and I still do not have it. It arrived at the Chicago rail yard and has been sitting there for 3 weeks. Apparently they have no truck drivers available to bring a load up to WI. My dealer now has 4 bronco...
Honestly, the way they had everything named at launch kind of defies belief. Was there not 1 single adult in the room to proof read the plan?
Yeah, I have the Badlands Model, with the Badlands Equipment, but without the Badlands Package. And I got the Copilot 360, but like not the regular one...
Thanks for sharing. Interesting video and very topical with 9 inches of snow in the forecast here today. Several of his bronco sport videos are really what helped push me in this direction when I was vehicle shopping
I test drove a RAV4 twice before I test drove a BB and an OB. I did not find the RAV4 to have a better interior. Like, not even remotely. As far as I'm concerned, most of the vehicles in this price class have pretty dang similar interior features and you really need to get above 50K before...
50K for a bronco sport is absurd in my opinion. If I was in that price bracket, I probably would have just ordered a Defender.
The real question, as a few others have mentioned is will the Big Bend be exactly what you want? There are plenty of stories on here about people regretting their...
It is a great moment to sell your car. I got almost 3K over blue book for a car that was totaled. Unfortunately, it is not a great moment to subsequently buy another car.
I too was hugely put off by the used vehicle market. So I ended up putting in a custom order and waiting several months...
Yeah I'll probably just end up doing something like this. I do the exact same thing saving money for future vet bills instead of paying for pet insurance.
Thanks for the great advice everyone!
