Sooooo after I replied to your post it was right at quittin' time and I looked it up cause I knew I hadn't seen that GREEN lane on my display...Holy crap that's cool. I used it all the way home and it worked like a dream. I did have the lane keeping assist on at the same time. I DID notice two...
My lane keeping definitely works most of the time, (where it turns yellow and redirects with the wheel)
Lane centering...do we have that? I'm a BL+BL. 360, everything. It may have been just too hot a day at work that I don't recall seeing GREEN on the lanes on the display.
Just noticed last night after washing it. Haven't checked it today but I will once I'm outta here. Seemed to be pretty mild so hopefully not something that will get worse.
Correct. Special orders will say it and the color also has something to do with it. Green stickers I believe are a flag to the salesmen that this vehicle is already spoken for. I believe my physical sticker also has my name on it. I don't have access to it this red hot second.
I don't know, man. I would consider the In Production date to be the start. I find it interesting my dealership didn't turn my pre-order into an actual ORDER till October when it was done in July. Anyway, that's the email that everyone that pre-ordered received.
Ya know I saw that thread the other day and was like, hmm that's an interesting take on removing the railes and making it almost flush with the stylings of the roof. I'd definitely need to see what it looks like with a basket on top. That would be a deciding factor. There's a new pic that gives...
So many choices! My Badlands did NOT come with crossbars despite I know I put it on my pre-order. The tent too. I was charged for neither so I let it go. I heard the OEM crossbars suck anyway and to go with aftermarket Yakima and Thule products. Here's my dilemma:
I don't like crossbars that...
My 235/65/17 are the optional A/T falken wildpeaks. No rubbing. I believe you can go up to 245 with our wheelbase. The BF Goodrich A/T 245s look sic af on this truck. That's what I'll be doing with a lift.
Hmm, idk. I'm sure Ford would have that on file. If you're the one that ordered it, Ford sends you a lovely email with a timeline from the order date of last year, all the way up to arriving at the dealership. It's nice to know the birthdate. If you reeeeally wanted to know, (this is a shot in...
What do you consider early? Mine was ordered a week after the website build launch in July, built beginning of April and I've tried a bunch to replicate these issues weekly and I can't. Just passed the 2k miles mark. Something they possibly knew about and fixed behind the scenes? That's the only...
I think you're right. And just like my dealer, really descriptive about WHAT it protects against, and super vague on the HOW. Like, what is it? I need to call and find out.
Exactly. I kinda think they didn't apply anything. I'd been in there for hours and was needing to get back for dinner and they said it took an hour to apply and when I inquired they brought it back in about 20 mins... suspect.
Wow...uhh, I just went out and gently took some goo gone to all the places I'm seeing it and it took it right off...And I've figured out what happened. There are white cardboard shields that are on those plastic pieces when they ship them from the factory and it must've been the adhesive residue...
Any of you familiar with the "Appearance Shield" applied at the dealership? I bought it cause I was told it was supposed to offer some protection from from a bunch of different normal every day wear and tear from weather and road wear. What is it exactly? I've only hand washed my Badlands TWICE...
