Good to know. I'm starting to look at different options and like to have all the details. I think your setup is the only commercial version available i could find that actually increases the Travel. Which is what i want. Otherwise the lift on its own is useless in my mind.

No clue about the hitch tents but i have a thule hilltop roof tent on mine and it leaves me enough space for a half basket on the roof which is really nice for more storing more gear.
