Did you try calling Ford? 1-800-334-4375. It will help to have the order number and possibly dealer number (not phone number). Or VIN if you had it which you obviously don't. But honestly, if your dealer is good, Ford likely won't tell you anything different.
Did you try going onto the shop Ford site and enter you VIN in? If you have an account, it'll give you the build date and estimated arrival date.

Congrats! Looks awesome! My BL (Area 51) is scheduled to arrive between Jan 30th and Feb 5th. Looking forward to some off-road action videos/pics from your FE!
Awesome! My Badlands (Area 51) was built on 12/16 and it's supposed to be at the dealer between Jan 30th and Feb 5th! Reading your story makes me want to hurry the time even more lol! Enjoy!
Feel free to post videos of the Bronco Sport in its off-road environment. There aren't many right now!

Not much. 18s of a salesman or customer driving it (BL model) over a patch of hard snow but hey, there's very few Bronco Sport videos so far 'off-road'.
Like some have said, as long as you don't have a VIN yet, you can safely change but it may (most likely) change your build date but that's minor in the end if that's what you want. I selected the BL model because I plan on using it a lot off-road and also because that 2.0L with 250hp should be...
I don't blame you. I've got a Badlands on order that should be here in a month or less. If you're going to go off-road a fair amount, it's the only one I'd get!
Have you gone to Cars.com? There are Badlands showing up in the PacNW. Most are Big Bend and a few others but I did see some Badlands. Give that a try if you haven't.
I'm not sure the Ranger would outdo a BL Sport. Would be an interesting comparison. Ground clearance on the BL is 8.8" with the optional Wildpeaks and the Ranger is 8.9". Not sure the articulation is much better on the ranger. I believe the BS is 7-8". What is the ranger? Maybe another inch or...
Mine shipped on 12/16 also with an estimated arrival between Jan 30th and Feb 4th. Local dealer hopes/thinks it could be here before that. I'm not that hopeful but we'll see.
I have one that has been shipped but can't help you with any driving impressions yet. It's surprising how few (like none) Bronco Sport owners are on YT with their vehicles. Lots of reviews from after the embargo lifted but no one is actually posting with their vehicles hitting the trails yet...
Thanks for the updates! My BL is supposed to arrive in about a month and I opted for the Falken Wildpeaks as I'm a fan of those on my Expy's and they are great in the snow and all-around. Can't beat a studless type snow tire for the winter but I haven't seen the need for it on either of my...
