It's definitely worth the wait. I placed my original order for a fully loaded Rapid Red Badlands on March 9th then had to deal with three reschedules before becoming part of the June Lot Rot group and then the FDM recall as well. Finally took delivery on 12/09 exactly nine months after I placed...
According to the Ford Bronco Sport ordering guide - all Bronco Sport trim levels have the electronic brake assist and not vacuum:
THE FOLLOWING FEATURES ARE STANDARD ON THE 2021 BRONCO SPORT:
MECHANICAL
●4x4
●Electronic Brake Assist (EBA)
It happened that way with the June builds also. My 2021MY was produced at the end of the month, so that when they finally received the RCM's, mine was "built" before the ones that were there three weeks prior. Unfortunately it still didn't do me any good since then I had the FDM recall to deal...
I had to wait just over a week once my Badlands was delivered since the dealership also had to add some dealer installed options to it. Dealer prep also includes removing all of the shipping protective film and washing and waxing the vehicle for delivery to you. All of this requires time for the...
I have this exact same model that I also got off of Amazon and use it on both our Escape and Bronco Sport with out any issues. The only thing that I changed was I replaced the pins with Grade 8 bolts, washers and locknuts so that the trailer and receiver couldn't be easily stolen.
Great News! This past Friday I received my "Shipped" email from Ford. I called my salerep and he was able to provide me the rail car number so that I could track it. As of this morning it was on the Union Pacific in New Mexico heading for the Chicago area where Norfolk Southern will take over...
If that was indeed what he meant than I can deal with that. My only issue was the way he quoted my text made it seem like I was the one calling my Bronco Sport junk, which - while it had its share of issues - I am very happy with.
What is the basis and facts for your statement that Ford rushed the introduction of the Bronco Sport. It's not as if it was thrown together overnight from parts found lying around. Also Ford contracts many other suppliers for the parts that go into producing it. Long gone are the days where...
I guess LastBronco never had a vehicle before that had a recall. My Bronco Sport isn't the first vehicle that I've owned that has been the subject of a recall. However, I'm very happy with mine even though it took so long to get it. It wasn't Ford that made the defective part but I had to wait...
No it's not. Look at the recall number from both the NHTSA and from Ford and you will see that it specifically states that it is the REAR pads and not the front.
Recall 21v922 is for the rear brakes and was covered in the following thread...
Rather than wait 2-3 months for the parts to repair the 2021MY, why not have them order you a 2022MY for the same price. It should be delivered about the same time as the parts for the other one as well as being a year newer.
