Wow, best of luck with the repairs. Had some hail in WI a week or two back. I was driving in HEAVY thunderstorms and heard pinging on the windshield. Noticed a church up ahead and pulled under the granny port to wait out the hail for 30 minutes. Made it just in time as hail about the size of...
Those Pirelli's look great for WI, but 265 is all you can get for the 18" rims on my OB. That is a bit disappointing but seems typical of that odd wheel configuration.
Thanks for the videos. Nice stuff. One question though, why disconnect the sensor on the air cleaner cover? I can see doing that if you cut the two ties holding the sensor wire to the cover so that you can completely remove the cover, but if not, I don't see a reason why. Is there some other...
Personally, based on my own experiences with having body work done, I would reject unless they give you a crazy discount or you plan on trading in a few years. My last two vehicles needed bodywork, slight dents and paint work. One of them was brand new (tree branch fell on it first night in...
Scratched the tint on the Bronco window? Been using the Weathertech versions since I got it in January and no scratching. Can you give a little more clarity?
Weathertech makes a door protector specifically for this. I have them and they work great. I did have a few light scratches and armor all'd them and they went away. Maybe that will help.
I have the same one, push it down inside a bit. There is a lip about a quarter inch below the cubby top. Push the tray down onto the lip and it fits snug and secure inside, not on top.
It would help to tell if these numbers are dashboard or calculated from actual mileage/gallons.
I lean towards old lady (with a beard)! 60/40 highway to city with colder WI climates until recently. 3700 miles on the beastie. Been averaging 27-28mpg calculated. Dashboard always shows about...
Curious if anyone has installed the body side molding by AirDesign from the Accessories page. I like the idea of door ding protection, but wonder how far they stick out. Looks like it may not be past the fender flares. Before I'd shell out $329 for these, thought I'd ask.
Thanks.
Coming from a 2014 manual FWD CX-5, I wanted automatic (bad knees), AWD for WI winters and some tech I've resisted all my life (heated seats, heated steering wheel, remote start). Being 6'7", I could not wear most smaller SUVs comfortably and did not want to roll the cash for larger one...
