I'm replacing the stock Conti's this week, in light snow they seem to spin and in slushy snow they don't grip the pavement. I don't think they are a very good winter tire.
I used to run the BFG mud terrains on my old S-10 truck years ago, the only way I would get stuck was on the frame. I considered the trail terrains but the KO2s had a better performance rating, now i'm hoping for another snow storm soon.
I am getting a set of the KO2s installed tomorrow and I went with the stock 225 size, that's all I need. I wanted a tire that is good in snow and could handle a trail now and then. After the last snow storm we got here in Michigan, the stock conti's were terrible on unplowed roads with 8+...
yes I agree, as I see more of the colors in person I like them more and more. When I bought mine in March of last year there wasn't many color choices available. Someone I work with has a CO full size Bronco and it is a cool color.
I also have the cloth seat with manual adjustment in my big bend, I'm 5'8 and 210 lbs, the seat feels fine to me but the slide adjustment is either too close to the dash or too far back for me
I think I tried to raise them like that but the arm would hit the edge of the hood and they wouldn't stay up. It's going to be tricky when it comes time to change wiper blades.
Last summer my best was 33-34 mpg. That was with mid grade fuel and using cruise on the highway. Now in winter with using remote start more I seem to get around 27.
I saw a 66 Bronco on there earlier this week, it had been restored and was orange in color. I think it a modern engine in it and it sold for around 80k.
Yes, I've used the KO2s on other vehicles before, they'll go through anything. My girlfriend has the Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventures on her grand cherokee, they do good in mud and snow also. I'll look into the Falkens.
HI all,
I'm new to the forum and after looking around I'd thought I'd ask a question, I have a 21 big bend that I bought back in March of 21. Recently I tried to wash the rear window and noticed the washer fluid sprayed out towards the back of the vehicle, not down on to the window. After...
Hello Bronco fans,
My name is Bob and I got my Big Bend in March of 21, after snooping around here for a while I decided to join. I look forward to being part of this forum.
