Thanks, Dude. I thought so but wanted to make sure. I guess I'll have to pay the difference with full synthetic Weds at the dealer. I have two free Ford changes.
My BS will be at the dealer to get my Ford Performance wheels installed and an a Ford free oil change. I called today and asked if they do the recall calibrations of the BSC and PCM udates while it's there. The rep said he didn't know. So we'll see.

The issue is not the many more 1.5s vs 2.0s. Other Ford products have the 2.0. I've had two Lincolns with the 2.0L. The 1.5 is less reliable and has a lot less power. 0-60 in just under 9 seconds and a weak passing gear is sad. I can...
A forum compainer? Fanboy is a common term but 'forum complainer? Nah, never heard that one. Nothing you type hurts me. Fanboys are the ones who get hurt and all bent out of shape like you. As a so called complainer, I have a very good forum reaction score. :)
The bottom line is no matter how...
Oh yes, the typical forum fanboy. Ford is having plenty of QC issues. 4 years leading in recalls. The 1.5L engine blows compared to the 2..0L. Injector issues , turbos failing at 70K miles, electric charging system issues, water pumps, etc.
If I cause you to toss and turn all night with my...
All auto manufacturers are not having injector issues. Maybe Ford should do some research on what injectors other auto manufacturers are using. If the same maker, maybe find out why Ford is having the problem that is causing the issue.
Add in Ford will only replace the injectors one time free...

Rush, that is some big time spinning on being #1 in recalls 4 years in a row. That's an engineering and quality control problem.

The adding a tray and drain tune is a band-aid. A cheaper way to stop an injury or death vs installing better fuel injectors.
I didn't do my usual homework. I didn't investigate the BS before I bought it. I fell in love with retro design and just bought it. I would have preferred the 2.0L having had that engine in two Lincolns but wanted an OBX and I jumped. Ford is the only domestic badge I buy.
Keeping the battery on a trickle charger extends the life of the battery for many years. I believe when the battery is low, sulfates build on the plates, shortening battery life.
