I prefer the hatch as well, but rather than having a pop up window would have liked a roll down window like the 4 runner. That way you could drive with the rear window down.
There is also a button on the end of the shifter that turns the lane assist on/off, I would try toggling the button.
What do you get on the driver display? when my lane assist is on I get two white lines on the display when the BS has identified lanes. When I cross these lines in alert mode it...
I wonder if the computer is measuring fuel consumption properly on some BS? It doesnāt seem feasible to me when the EPA combined mileage is 23mpg, which is still better than what I am getting.
I live in the foothills so always either going up or down So I prefer the pedal response in normal mode, maybe I will try again on the highway on my next road trip. Agreed on the custom settings, and the stop/start is completely erratic. Some days it comes on every stop, some days it doesnāt...
After all these reports of great fuel consumption I finally tried eco mode. Lasted about 3 miles on it, felt like I had a 1.0L engine.... I think I can live with my low mpg.
Not bad, I would say fantastic! My badlands has averages 21.7 mpg, does around 19mpg in the city and 27mpg on the highway.
Eco mode must have a big impact, are you also running the stock scorpion tire?
I canāt even fit one 27.5 in the back of my badlands standing up. I have a small frame, but a 160mm fork so I had to lay on its side. My hitch is on now so I can now use my hitch rack.
This is one of the reasons I bought the curt from etrailer, ended up being $50 more than uhaul, but they were able to give me a date and itās now on the car.
Uhaul just posted a video on youtube on how to wire the Bronco Sport wiring harness, well theirs in this case. Donāt like how they route the power...
Thanks for the great explanation. Any downsides to airing down, wouldnāt it expose the sidewalls to possible cuts if there are any sharp rocks or is it really not a concern?
Do you guys air down whenever you go through sand, or stay at normal pressure to see if needed first?
The normal awd system is pretty impressive. I have the badlands and have been in a lot of different terrain short of rock crawling and havenāt needed to use any of the goat modes yet. I suspect the badlands is overkill for what I need and I could have gone with a lower model.
There is a sensitivity setting in the software where you set approximate car lengths to react to. I think normal is two, and the least sensitive is 1 car length. I currently have it set to two, but as getting alarms when there isnāt anything around me.
Your wifeās incident is how I would...
I do the same as I tend to prefer a slower fan speed than any of the auto modes give when there is a large temperature difference. I swear that the fan has a mind of its own even in manual mode though, sometimes level one seems to put out way more air than others, I donāt find it consistent.
Iāve gotten three pre collision warnings now in about 2500 miles of driving. Twice when it happened there was nothing within 5 car lengths of me, anyone else getting these random warnings?
