Yeah it’s flimsy. ?‍♀️ I get a similar effect going down the highway at high speeds with the rough country leveling kit in it too. Doesn’t personally bother me enough to care though. Things just aren’t built the same way they used to be.
Has anyone had issues with alignments after installing 245 tires? When my mechanic did the alignment after the leveling kit install with the bigger tires the rear end was still damn near spec. The front tow had to be adjusted a little, but the rear was okay.
The problem being my rear tires...
21.7 average. 5600 miles on the broncy. 90% of it is highway miles in sport mode. I do have a lead foot, and drive like it stole it. Rough country leveling kit, with 245 tires on it as well.
I have a 16” crack that started as a small chip. I do all highway driving, but first windshield that’s cracked, and my fourth vehicle doing the same commute. Taking two months to get a new windshield from ford.
This is the only one I’ve seen, but it says for the 2.0L. Looks like someone asked if it would fit the 1.5, but no answer since it’s still in development ?
hopefully it’s nothing major! If I had to guess it’s probably just a loose connection tripping the system, but I know more about mechanical issues than I do about computer issues.
I got a base model in New Hampshire early December off the lot, and have only seen one other on the road since then. I travel to Mass everyday for work, and haven’t seen any there yet either.
I guess it looks cool, but it’s just a trim piece. More interested in someone doing a performance set up with a hood scoop for actual gains. Just my two cents.
I think that would be sick! I would rather have just the sport tunes instead of all the goat modes. They should offer a performance package with a few different sport modes for sure, especially where they are only giving us a 1.5 to work with. Lol
I have the 245/65/17’s, and I’ll only drive the 1.5 in sport mode! Only way it’s bearable on the highway, which is 90% of my driving. I’m getting 22mpg. I personally don’t care about mpg’s. Before the tire swap and the RC lift I was only getting 25-26. As is the 22 is far better than any...
