My guess is aesthetic since I believe the factory cross bars fit all trim levels regardless of the roof rails on the trim levels having cutouts in the front vs. the base,BB, and OB.
Also, the Rigid kit requires the factory rails to be drilled and have nutserts installed for the brackets to...
I believe it's because the FE/BL trim levels have auxiliary wiring capped off behind the drivers side A-pillar, not because the roof rails are different.
Thatās all well and good but in the original post you stated youāre now considering selling the ā22 so Iām curious what tour end goal is? What are you looking to drive?
What is the thought process behind selling such a new vehicle? I'm aware of the shortages, the wild pricing going on and the possibility of getting a couple bucks over what you paid for it but to what end? To turn around and take it on the chin for something else that is having the same shortage...
Even when we get lucky and have a warm enough day to wash them off, it's only until the first salty puddle! I can't wait for spring and a couple hard rains to wash off the roads.

Yeah I agree. Unfortunately, trying to change someones opinion with reason doesn't seem work anymore.
Some people love to think time doesn't change and that an "American" engine todays is the same as an old carburated 454 . Apples and oranges but that dinosaur brain mentality will be there...
It wouldn't as the platform is the same, just the knuckles on the FE/BL are more stout. I'd be shocked if the mounts or actual suspension design is any different.
lifetime powertrain through Ford, No deductible and non-transferable. It is honestly making me second guess replacing it with the f-150 lightning or a Big Bronco.
