I finally bit the bullet and ordered some new tires. I was planning on keeping the stock size (225/65/17) but the tires I wanted in that size were a load range E and I decided to up it to 245's as that size was a load range D. So far I am real happy with the ride and around town my mileage hasn't been impacted in a noticeable way. I ordered 5 and will update this thread when I tackle how to stuff the matching spare into the factory location.

I plan on doing this exact thing this weekend. Still trying to figure out how to fit the spare.

Do you have the factory tow hitch? If so, the rear tray is taller than the non-tow option. The 245/65/17 fits in the stock location

Thank you! This is stock height, I’ve been going back and forth over a lift but every inch adds up when loading kayaks, even at 6ft tall haha.

It took a little shove to seat it all the way down but it is fully inflated and doesn't squeak from rubbing while driving so I'm very pleased. I was concerned that I'd have to partially deflate the spare and carry a compact compressor but there was no need.
