Dang, that memory seat option is kinda nice. Although I wonder what small conveniences they might have removed, since there were a bunch on the 2022 removed from the 2021 that werenāt listed on the ordering guide.
My car started being built on 7/6 according to the tracker, during the intended build week (7/4). As of today, 8/3, it's been 12 working days at the factory since then, because of the 2 week break (and they work Mon-Sat).
I wonder how long it typically takes for the car to be built, and if...
Mine is showing up on United Road. For whatever reason, registering your e-mail only works if you check the delivery receipt from a smartphone, the link to register doesn't show up on desktop. Wonder if that's intentional, or if it's some "responsive design" related bug.
Also, happy birthday...
@Hooligan88 Iāve heard that shipping can take around 2 months from when itās built. So, even if by the end of this week my car is built, it probably wonāt get to the dealership until the end of September or early October.
Iām trying to set my expectations lowā¦Iāve always been mentally...
Joining the July waiting room, my build week was July 4th like many of you. I've put the rundown in my signature but it's a bit cramped due to the line limit, here's the full thing:
4/3/2022 Placed Order at Dealership
4/6/2022 "Order Confirmed" E-mail
4/21/2022 Build week of 7/4/2022 assigned...
Ah nice, wish I could say the same! I also have a July 4th build week, I was āIn Productionā July 6th, but as of today (July 9th) mine still isnāt built. But I do have modules so thatāsā¦something I guess.
I know the manufacturing plant is being shut down for the next two weeks, and Iām...
Iāve got modules on my VIN number, lots of themā¦what do they mean? What can I do with this information, anything? Is there anything specific I should look for?
I also have a build week of July 4th, which was pushed back to July 25th briefly. Mine has said "in production" since June 28th on the official Ford tracker...did yours ever get that status before being moved? Really hoping mine doesn't get pushed back
Woah, congrats!!! This is awesome. Thanks so much for posting the pics!!
Iām also noticing the really slick ambient lighting in the cup holders, yours must be an outer banks? Did it come like that or did you install those too? Heard they nixed that on the ā22s
Interesting, the part number Ford Parts gave me when I called was completely different. They gave me M1PZ-19980-B, but they couldn't confirm 100% whether this actually was the '21 version with the displays on the knobs. This link seemed to confirm it had the screens, but maybe it was just an...
Congrats! Looking forward to seeing if this install works :)
Any chance it came with a part number or any identifying documentation? This looks like the exact assembly I'm looking for, since my OB will have the dual zone climate and the heated steering wheel
That's what I was thinking too. I'd imagine if there were ever any crumbs or something spilled, non-perf seats would be much easier to clean. After all, this thing is meant to handle trekking through the dirt off-road
Oh geez, I didnāt even know about this one. I might have to do this mod as well. Found the link for anyone curious:

My point is not to say that these are huge differences, or even huge downgrades. Like the trunk button, for example. I never understood why you need that since anyone opening the trunk would need to place their hand on the exterior button anyway.
My point is that, even though small, they *are*...
