Bought off the lot. Had to have Badlands with sunroof, tow package and Falkens. After 3 months of searching couldn't find one. Dealer tried to trade for one out of town, couldn't pull off the trade (he was gonna give up a Mach E).
Didn't wanna order in July and then wait, I have no patience...
You have to make the decision, but it seems it's between the AWD and GOAT modes vs gas mileage and an open cargo bed for the dump and Lowes.
I was thinking about the AWD Maverick + half shell for myself, but ended up with the Badlands-- just works better for what we do.
Good luck and keep us...
We did the Off Roadeo in Moab the day before the eclipse. We asked the trail guide if he would have a group the next day and he said 'oh yeah.'
So, be optimistic, YES, you DID see a Bronco Sport down there.
So, just for fun I went over to the event page to see where they're racing, can you watch the event live, etc.
Whatya know, they start near Lake Tahoe, and wind thru Nevada and California, finishing at Imperial Dunes. The Dunes are less than 3 hours from home base, cool! I'm retired, I could...
Added sticker from Moab Off Roadeo, and activated inclinometer screen on driver display (which I had seen a photo of somewhere and learned where it was in menu system at Off Roadeo-- see you learn stuff there!).
Right here it shows 9 degree lean angle, that was parking off pavement at...
Col, where did the mtn range decal come from?
PS for the person WAY upthread (2022) who commented on a white Bronco emblem, you CAN find white metal emblems on Amazon. I got white myself to match the lettering on the liftgate...
Hey thanks! Alabama Hills are not really known for off road driving, the dirt roads can be traversed with a 2wd car for the most part.
They ARE known for their scenic beauty and the hundreds of movies filmed...
One thing I like about this set up is that it seems a better use of space behind the sync screen than say, an organizer.
Not to mention they include ALL the tools-- that's very cool. My level of expectation is a hex key; here, if the photos are to be believed, you get a trim tool, screwdriver...
Just FYI. My car said 'up to date,' as well, even though the FordPass app said there was a newer version available (23188). Running a manual update search in the car, the Bronco still said I was up to date. I had to download the update from a laptop to a thumb drive and update Sync that way...
Ha ha, I did reread the manual, ironically it didn't help, had to play with the car itself. Read on.
The memory seat function (p152 in manual) is separate and apart from the feature that moves your seat when you turn ignition on or off.
If you want to turn OFF the haunted seats, push the...
1) driver seat support-- I've taken half a dozen trips over 3 hours long and my heinie always complains. Almost wish I could install the 10 way adjustable seats from my 95 Explorer Sport-- they even had an adjustable bolster.
Dishonorable mentions
2) rear seats don't fold flat
3) shifter...
Must have or no deal options for me were: Badlands, towing, moonroof, Wildpeaks. We have half a dozen dealers within 40 miles but after 3 months of looking the only properly equipped BS I could find was black. Local dealers tried to trade with dealers further away but it fell through.
So yah...
81 Lynx wagon, hand me down from GF, now wife
87 Mustang LX hatchback, ex-Hertz
95 Explorer Sport, bought new, 'the Big Bug'
08 Focus 5 door hatchback, new
13 C-Max hybrid, new
23 BSBL, new (current)
Unless I'm missing something, for 2024 looks like ONLY roof color allowed is black. Just for fun I set up a blue body and tried to check box for 'roof matching body' and configurator told me I'd have to choose shadow black body.
