The rate is locked in when you order. What ever it is when you order will be given if the dealer selects the "Protect Date" on your incentives when you purchase. You can't lock in today rate unless you order today.
Since it was on the order system, I assumed it was affected unscheduled orders. But without knowing if anyone with a scheduled Order had been moved back I don't know if they are affected.

Then it won't be scheduled for production. The OB comes with black roof, so since they can't build a two tone paint scheme unless you have the Shadow Black exterior color. On the Badlands, they can have either a gray or black roof so those exterior colors that match the roof color will be able...
Great question, I think it applies to any unscheduled orders but you never know. I guess check an eye out to see if any scheduled order gets pushed back build dates.
Due to constraints on two tone paint schemes all Outer Banks will require Shadow Black exterior paint color. All Badlands will require Shadow Black or Carbonized Gray exterior paint color to match the roof paint color. Not sure how long this will last, just noticed the message on Ford's ordering...
If you are seeing that then it just got scheduled today or you are about to go into production. If you just got scheduled with build date, try to go back in a couple days. If it is going into production, you can't change it.
Nothing special, just click on the order, click on exterior color, select the new color, then hit submit. Wait for it to turn green and then it is done. Not difficult and can be done in less than 2 minutes.
Typically, wrong email address entered, email going to spam are the 2 big ones. If they correct the email address it won't trigger the initial order submitted email but you will get all future communications.
