  1. Removing the door handle covers

it would except I need it by tomorrow andcactus gray is special order. Failing to plan is planning to fail and all that jazz.
  2. Removing the door handle covers

I’m trying to remove a body panel to bring into Home Depot so I can get it color matched for some house paint. Has anyone removed the door handles? Seems like the easiest painted trim piece to get off. The other candidate is gas cap cover but that doesn’t seem to come off easily.
  3. Velocity Blue & Bronze Smoke Bronco Sports - First Owners' Pics

I mean 3 colors isn’t exactly minimal… it’s kind of the opposite of minimal, possibly excessive. The only ways you could have more would be adding racing stripes or turning it into a harlequin.

A vehicle with 3 different prominent colors is minimalist?
  5. So our Bronco Sport Base is AMAZING in the snow, but...

now imagine how much worse than the average person those that fall on the wrong side of that bell curve are.
  6. Any one else? Rear window shattered with defroster

I’d make sure they take apart all the panels in the back to get all the broken glass out. Someone busted out my hatch glass to steal some stuff out of the back a long time ago. Never got all the glass and I could hear it rattling. Drove me nuts.
  7. So our Bronco Sport Base is AMAZING in the snow, but...

Adding a heating element to the sensors is a pretty simple engineering ask. Tesla already does it. Surprised the car doesn’t at least auto disable. If snow built up on my vw id get one warning and letting me know the system was unavailable and then a light similar to the cel would stay on until...
  8. Lug Nuts

I was just giving the man what he asked for :). Eventually any steel lugs will rust at least a bit (at least if you live somewhere that sees road salt). Even good coatings only go so far when going up against a torque wrench/breaker bar/air tools. Nicks are inevitable. Plastic caps are another...
  9. Lug Nuts

Ask and you shall receive. Both of these look like they're available in the right spec to work on the sport, titanium is never gonna rust, and both companies make awesome products, but its gonna cost you... That said they are some of the nicest nuts you're ever gonna see. The racesengs in...
  10. Velocity Blue & Bronze Smoke Bronco Sports - First Owners' Pics

Blue looks great. Not a fan of the gray roof option with any body color except maybe black. It clashes with large amount of gloss black trim on all of the pillars, the essentially black tint, and the roof rack in my opinion. too much going on with the body being one color, tons of black trim in...
  11. My Badlands was destroyed by hail.

I wouldn't be taking a car with that damage to a dealership. Dealerships are for warranty work and basic maintenance at most. Find a well regarded independent body shop. They should be painting more than the damaged panel anyway if they are blending. Are you not using your insurance?
  12. How is the Badlands at Highway Speeds?

Cruising It’s fine til you approach triple digit speeds. Just drove from Chicago to KC this morning. Supposed to take 8.5 hours and I shaved 90 minutes off and got in at 7 hours flat. Passing power above 75 is lacking in my opinion (but my previous car had almost twice the horsepower and 500...
  13. Bronco Sport Trade In Values

Yup. Dealers are finding ways of turning new cars into certified cars. There are tons of cpo and used cars at dealers on autotrader with delivery mileage and weird ass carfax histories. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/6f80a981-50b4-4e49-bb4b-8a62065ebcd0/ Carfax shows this Bronco was...
  14. Bronco Sport Trade In Values

I’d personally love to sell the bronco but my wife would never agree to it, so my car got sold instead. We need one car so selling it now and paying inflated value on something else in inventory didn’t make much sense. Now the market needs to hurry up and correct itself so I can get an m2 or...
  15. Bronco Sport Trade In Values

carmax won’t give internet offers on sports. Asks you to bring it it since there isn’t enough sales data, which I won’t do since I’m not actually selling. They gave me 43k for my golf r when vroom was 41.2 and carvana was 40. So not surprised they were highest for you. Was going to take the...
  16. Bronco Sport Trade In Values

What’d they sell you the badlands for relative to sticker?
  17. Bronco Sport Trade In Values

I had a second car I didn't drive much so I'd periodically toss my vin into vroom and carvana to see if it was worth selling (eventually I did get an offer I couldn't refuse). A couple times I checked the Bronco as well out of curiosity. I saw carvana had a sport similar to mine listed for 45...
  18. UPDATE!!! SAD - My sweet little loaded AREA 51 Badlands R.I.P.

Besides the power difference I didn’t like the ride with the 1.5. Found the NVH to be really bad.
  19. Transforming A BigBend Into A BadLands

You don't really have all that much done already... you'd still come out ahead either returning the car to stock and selling it or just selling it as is and getting a badlands. you're asking for problems, especially with the modifications you want to make to the AWD system. whatever a shop...
  20. Bronco Sport tops Consumer Reports' "Most Reliable Compact SUV" list

Not mine lol. Current issues I have not been able to get to the dealer to have them checked out include: -Leaking rear diff -Keyless no longer unlocks the trunk just the glass. The lights flash but thats it. -Rear brake squeal backing up -MFD intermittently blacking out
