  1. Rear camera shield or protector available aftermarket?

It depends on when it was built. Big bends built after May 10th have it standard. Was yours made earlier?
  2. Parking brake issue

I am not sure why this is a problem. Are people not using the parking brake and upset that it engages automatically? You don't even need to pull the switch to disengage. When you put the car in drive or reverse and hit the gas, it disengages automatically.
  3. Touch Screen Protector?

This is the one I got for mine. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08RDS3LH8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  4. Engine RPM’s in Normal Mode

This is probably my only (small) complaint about my car. The NVH at certain rpms when at a stop is kind of jarring. It is one of the reasons that I don't mind the auto start stop on this vehicle. In normal mode it is very reluctant to shift down unless you goose it a little and it will lug quite...
  5. So our Bronco Sport Base is AMAZING in the snow, but...

I'm confused. The Base model does not have co pilot 360+ available so there is no radar sensor in the grill. The pre collision assist uses the camera up by the mirror. If something is blocking that part of the windshield you will get the message. Only vehicles with ACC have the radar module. On...
  6. Bronco ForScan Thread

That's good to hear. The honk drives me crazy and when I exit with it running I just don't close the door all the way. On our Hondas it just a series of beeps. I used forscan to disable it on my Ranger (which I traded in on the BS) and was hoping I could do it on the BS. I also disabled start...
  7. Installing aftermarket speakers and sub in Bronco Sport!

Just like HGT said that is pretty high. I installed mine this weekend and it took about 2 hours to do all four. The first door took the most time just because I was being careful taking off the door panel but after that it was pretty easy. I used the same speakers that HGT did and paid $120 per...
  8. 5 star tuning 1.5L dyno sheet

They still offer the warranty. To me that means they feel their tunes are safe and within what the vehicle can handle. Still you are going to find plenty of idiots that drive them hard all the time. I am going to start by just using the 87 tune and see how that feels day to day. May not even use...
  9. 5 star tuning 1.5L dyno sheet

It's not really that. It is just nice to have a little more power if needed. The most important part of the tunes for both the ranger and the civic were the other parameters like throttle response. In the case of the Civic, the first tune I tried was with stock boost and even then it was like a...
  10. Any Complaints so far?

Sync 3.4 already has bluetooth, but wireless carplay does not use bluetooth, it uses wifi. It uses bluetooth or the usb cable for the initial setup but bluetooth does not have enough bandwidth for wireless carplay. Bluetooth is 2.0mbps max.
  11. 5 star tuning 1.5L dyno sheet

Exactly. I am not sure what the stock and tuned boost pressures are on the Dragon, but on the Civic, stock boost is 16.5 psi and the stage 2 tune that I ran was 21psi. That was just the built in canned tune without messing with any of the options available with the software. I am going to order...
  12. 5 star tuning 1.5L dyno sheet

It's not just timing and fueling. It is upping the boost pressure which you can do with higher octane fuels since it resists detonation better than lower octane fuels. That is why the 93 gains are so significant. On 87 you can't up the psi on the boost very much before you start to get knock...
  13. 5 star tuning 1.5L dyno sheet

This right here. The canned Ranger 93 tune that came with my SCT BDX was +60hp and +67lb ft. which is about 330hp and 377lb ft. You could really feel the difference. Prior to that I had a Honda Civic. Stock it was 174hp and 162lb ft. The ktuner 21 psi stage 2 tune was approximately 220hp and...
  14. Poll: How much did you pay for your Bronco Sport?

Paid MSRP -$500 customer cash for a BB+BB no sunroof. No other dealer within 200 miles was selling at msrp. Mine was a dealer trade they got for me and it still had the $3500 ADM sticker on it when it arrived. Got $38k for my 2019 ranger so that saved me $2600 in sales tax. I definitely could...
  15. 5 star tuning 1.5L dyno sheet

I emailed 5 star about tunes for my SCT BDX tuner to use on my BS and they emailed me this dyno sheet. Very impressive. Stock is about 150hp and 195lb ft to the wheels and the 93 octane is 205hp and about 260lb ft. That is incredibly impressive. Even the 87 tune gave gains of about 25hp and 30lb...
  16. Big Bend Intelligent Cruise

I don't understand why speed sign recognition isn't available on all Bronco Sports. They all have the camera standard and I doubt the camera hardware is different from the ones with 360+. I had an Accord with it and even though it didn't affect the adaptive cruise control, it was nice to know...
  17. Big Bend Intelligent Cruise

That is interesting. That version of sync is like seven versions old. The latest official version is 3.4.21194. I wonder if it is some sort of oversight in the newer builds. It stands to reason that any vehicle that can read the speed signs should offer the intelligent cruise if it has adaptive...
  18. What warranties did Ford try to sell you at signing?

I didn't buy the warranty but if I decide to I will go with Zeigler like I did with my ranger. About half the cost of what the dealer wanted. One thing I did discover that for some reason I never noticed before. I knew within about $10 what my payment should be at a given interest rate. Their...
  19. Update: Maybe not...Maybe (Got this for my OB and I LOVE IT! Wireless CarPlay Adapter)

Works great in the Bronco just like it did in the Ranger. I've also tried it in our Passport and HR-V without any issues. The instructions were pretty clear. The thing displays a bunch of chinese characters when it boots up but there have been no issues at all using it. It's currently on sale...
  20. Big Bend Intelligent Cruise

I think there is a mistake on Ford's description of IACC on the Bronco Sport. You do have speed sign recognition IACC uses the radar like normal and slows down as you approach another vehicle but can also read the speed signs. The packaging guide for the 2021 says that ACC+speed sign recognition...
