To provide more info I have the following springs 14/200 in front and 12/250 in rear. After the install ground to front fender was set at 34 and rear 33.5. So it was too low. The car was thumping the whole way through so the ride height was set too low. We have been now trying to raise the...
The fronts were straightforward. It is the rear that we are having an issue with each side moved differently. Maybe it is an issue with the product I have I don’t know but the rear is not easy to adjust on mine .
I am not trying to air bad laundry here but I went with their installers and I live in Rockville Md. Drove an hour to white marsh to go to their installers. I cannot go back because there is so much metal to metal clunking cannot drive the car . I have given it to my mechanic down here hoping...
Yes but this was with a gr40 on a badlands I don’t think the geometry is the same that is the issue here . I didn’t install it I went with the flat out installation recommended installer Felix performance . The car is in not drivable now and there is metal to metal contact in front. Also we...
Things have gone from bad to worse on my flat out installation gr40. After installing from Felix performance trying to adjust the rear heights they’re set initially set at 33.5 and need to increase to 34.5. My second mechanic is unable to do so. There is also massive metal to metal contact...
Has anyone installed a Flatout coilover suspension on a badlands model without any modifications ie changes in the flatout’s springs that come with the GR40. I am doing an install soon and it has been hard to get details from the company itself.
Also look at the jcr evap skid and rock slider install thread I have posted pics of what the underneath looks like with the go rhino sliders and jcr skid plates. The jcr skid plates have to be modified if you have the badlands irrespective of whether you get the sliders or not based on what I...
Did you get this part number Go Rhino Dominator Rock Sliders
Color/StyleTextured Black

Submodel4-door, SUV
AutoAnything SKU8322388
Part NumberDSS4029T
Quantity1
If you did it fits that is what I have on mine . You have to get that part number from go rhino DSS4029t
The jcr evap and floor skids won’t fit if you get the go rhino rock slider and you have the badlands. They have to be modified cut and protected. A doable project but would need basic metal skills.
I thought I will post some pics so others can see that they can be modified to fit well with the go rhino sliders. One issue you can see from the pics is the low point bracket on the go rhino . As I was navigating some rocks it dented the brackets pretty badly but the sliders took the brunt...
I was trying to get hold of you through your chat. My install is in a few days. Wanted to check since I am getting the gr40 can you confirm that link tabs are not welded to the shock body assuming the link tabs are still threaded and adjustable. Also I have the badlands I recently modified...
I posted some pics under modifications thread on the sections that had to be cut. I am not sure it is worth the effort I had to do it since to return them was a cost. But basically I had to lay the jcr skid plate and then mark which parts had to be cut there were some in front and back. I...
The jcr skid plates had to be cut both in the front and back to fit. It was not because of the go rhino rock slider. Not sure what it is but these skid plates do not fit without modification on the badlands. Curious if any one else has tried on the badlands. Here are some pics
Yes you are correct I had to remove the small skid evac plate when I put in the jcr skid plates. The jcr skid plates don’t fit the badlands without modification
Just FYI there are no factory skid plates on the badlands for evap and floor. The passenger side underneath is just the aluminum floor pan. On non badlands there is a fiber board on both sides, on badlands the fiber board is only on the drivers side covering fuel lines etc. When you remove...
I am in the process of modifying the jcr evap and floor skid plates to fit my badlands since I have the go Rhino rock sliders. If anyone is interested I can let you know what I did there is some cutting of their skid plate involved so some may not want to do it.
Anyone experiencing squeaking in the rear passenger outside door panels. It has become increasingly annoying. When I press on the top part it squeaks was wondering if anyone else has experienced this
