Similar question to the original thread - has anyone got photos of the slate gray cloth interior? Or can point me to a thread with those photos. My search for "slate" is turning up nothing.

As I understand, delivery is actually at the dealership & ready for pickup. Apologies if I'm using the wrong terminology.

My dealer has been very consistent each time I ask that all the financial arrangements will take place at time of delivery. Thus far, I've only had to pay the $100 reservation deposit. My order is confirmed & awaiting VIN assignment. Admittedly, I can't decide if I'm happy they haven't asked for...

Just tried this and it shows the old reservation page as we are used to. Nothing new to report yet other than the hyperlink appears to have been changed - perhaps to make it easier for Ford to start pushing out updates to the page.

I'll be wanting a copy as well once they come out. I like to do as much service myself as I can, but the potential for Ford and/or aftermarket upgrades aspect will be worth having the paper copy tech manual laying around as reference during installs.

Agreed. Mine had the transmission fully replaced at 3k miles new, and not an issue since. I'm trying to time my BS delivery carefully as I consider selling private part rather than trade-in. For 65k miles and perfect history, ± $5k isn't nearly good enough an offer from my dealer for trade-in in...

I too was/still am one of the unfortunate many with a Focus. Looking at my BS order, I’m hoping the same thing about all the first year bugs, and also kicking myself wishing the trade-in value was higher. I took immaculate care of mine, but “reliability ratings” have me looking at the short end...

It's a shame Ford didn't offer the new Active-X seating fabric option... I love the OB unique interior, but for a number of personal reasons cannot bring myself to purchase actual leather. This looks great though. The gray detailing between the two really pops!

Lol I know, I did say "wildcard" - I had considered carbonized gray early on and jumped ship to the others, but ultimately I wanted a metallic & this one doesn't come with added cost. On the phone with dealer now & super excited!

And the wildcard wins it, haha. Going with carbonized gray. Seems my previous question is now irrelevant.
