Well those are the tires I want on my FE, and was thinking about whether to do the white letter out. It looks great.

Which crossbars do you have? I'm deciding which to get, Ford OEM off-road or Thule.

Looks awesome. So, is there any reason my FE with a 1" lift kit from 4WP wouldn't be able to fit this 245/70R17 size tire? I've wanted the setup like the trail rig concept, but I keep hearing that 245/65R17 is the largest tire I can do even with the 1" lift. Yet I'm seeing that size put on...

I was charged for my crossbars as a Dealer Installed add-on on my First Edition. Did they rip $300 off me? Should I contact Ford?

I have a First Edition and am also wondering if they'll rub on stock suspension.

Chris, any chance I'd be able to fit 245/70R17 tires after I install the kit? Keeping stock wheels.

As far as I know, with that kit I can fit 30.5" or 31" tires. Looks much better ? A little more ground clearance too.

Brought this little fella home today. Also, ordered the lift/level kit from 4WP. Thanks to Chris at MAD, he was a big help. $199 plus tax. YMMV, but the manager at the dealer I got it from said doing a kit that minor wouldn't affect warranty at all. Just what he said, I got it saved in text...
