I literally just had this exact thing happen not long ago. Got off work. Went to gas station to fill up and then after fueling up at a stop light car started idling rough for a few seconds. Back to normal then idle rough once again. My commute home is 45 miles so once I got home I idled the car...
That’s the issue I have when it’s pouring rain. Because it’s a 4x4 type system the rear wheels won’t engage till after it detects slip. I prefer to use sport mode because to me it acts more like a full time AWD system.
A lot of people like to shit on the 1.5L but compared to the competition 181hp 190tq is pretty respectable for a crossover imo. I believe on the dyno the torque is closer to 200 to the wheels stock
I just put 245/70/17 BFG KO2s on my stock Big Bend. I haven’t noticed any rubbing. 1.5L turns them just fine. I’m sure they would rub when off roading but this car is strictly highway use. I’ll throw on a small spring lift in the future.
Mines are all breaking. Not really a big deal but just goes to show how cheap some things are made. When they break I use tweezers to remove the trim fully. I like the look better.
You should be okay. I believe you can even fit 245/70/17. Not too many posts about it but the ones who have on stock wheels say they don’t rub. I ordered some myself to confirm.
i just installed the Aeroskin ii this past weekend. Held up to heavy cross winds and helped limit wind noise caused by my roof rack. It does rattle the hood quite a bit after 70+ mph but overall a great buy and looks good.
What’s the link? I’ll probably pick one up myself. I’ve had to add very little coolant since my vehicle was new. Dealership supposedly pressure tested it and found no leaks. Now that I’m out of warranty better safe than sorry.
I always turn mine off immediately. I don’t like the fact that auto start/stop will shut down the engine when it’s cold. Plus it adds additional wear on starter and battery. From my understanding it’s meant to satisfy the EPA. These cars aren’t designed like hybrids.
