For me, I'd like a warm jacket. UF baseball starts in February, and we have some night games during our Florida cold season.
And of course, world peace, brotherly love, and all that stuff that would most likely never happen.
If the spacers are to extend the wheels past the wheel wells, I'd refrain from it. It will only toss sand and rocks against the sides and mess up the paint.
I never liked the look of tires extending outside the wheel wells.
I prefer the white contrast with our area 51 color. I always provoke others to change their white lettering to some other color in order for mine to stand out.
I've reported on other threads that I installed the Ford hood protector, and I have had absolutely no issues with hood vibration or any other ill effect.
A fowl timing for those birds to be out and about! Nice for you to stop by and see Jon. I'm thinking it made his day. Hats off to you for visiting him.
Check out a local upholstery shop and see what they can do for you. It should not be that expensive to repair if you go the way of stitching it up, and they can match it and do a better (?) job of stitching!
Not sure of everyone's plans, but keep safe if you travel, and have a happy Thanksgiving, and a very Merry Christmas/ Happy Holiday season and prosperous New Year ahead!
Usually located at or near the fuel filler neck. Since our BS's do not have fuel caps, something else triggered the code.
Are you stopping the fuel fill sequence when the pump shuts off the first time, or are you one of those that 'squeeze's the handle to top off'?
If you squeeze the handle...
You have an appointment, so unless you can find another Ford dealer that will take you sooner, I'd just keep monitoring the oil level, and topping off until you can get the vehicle in.
Or, call and request to take the vehicle in for warranty repair (I assume this BS is still under warranty) and...
They can say whatever they want, but again, if they are denying warranty work because they think you caused the damage, did they explain or point out what they said you did to cause the muffler damage? If they think the tree limb that caused the front damage caused this muffler rattle, ask them...
Take it back and have them correct the issue. They have the burden of proof to say it was due to your damaging the muffler, not you. If they continue to deny, ask for the phone number of the Ford regional service rep, and talk to them.
