  1. Bumpy Ride after Lift + Tire Upgrade?

If you're getting a loud noise going over bumps, either you lift kit didn't come with a hole in the center of the front spacer that allows the front strut freedom of movement going over bumps (then the noise is the strut banging into the spacer). The other (likelier) option is that something...
  2. 12 volt battery charge state detection recall coming out.

I definitely get a annoyed when I'm either camping or just popping into the garage to grab something real quick from my BS and the headlight fans turn on from 2 seconds of use in the garage, and then proceed to run forever. I wish there was a one-button push we could use to turn on/turn off...
  3. COOLANT TANK

Mine is also the same. As long as fluid level is between the marked lines on the tank, I haven't worried. (a bit jelly of your engine cover though...)
  4. HRG 1.5 inch Lift Installed - 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands

I didn't have much affect at all to my ride quality. Lost about 2mpg overall between the tires and the lift. I did have to replace both rear shocks recently- probably a combo of the lift and the lower quality shocks in the '22 BS. I got one with a bit longer travel specifically for a lifted...
  5. 47.5 MPG on Big Bend using Eco Mode 🍃

I've gotten some really awesome mpg numbers on short little trips like the 60 miles in the OP's photo (mostly on the down-hill trip through a canyon). Call me skeptical, but I won't believe those numbers unless the trip odometer is at least over 1000 miles.
  6. Gee, Thanks FORD! $20 whole bucks!

I used the wifi hot spot out of curiosity during the free trial period from AT&T. The promise is pretty awesome- watch videos for free while you're driving (their library was pretty good if I remember correctly), and be able to have signal for folks in your vehicle, and possibly yourself...
  7. HRG 2.5” vs Ford Ranger Lifts 1.75”

I coulda swore the front skid was aluminum, but the magnet for my shop light stuck right to it! It must of been in one of his youtube videos or something that he wanted to make it of aluminum but the prices were too high for it at the moment. And the plate is light enough I never questioned my...
  8. HRG 2.5” vs Ford Ranger Lifts 1.75”

I have the 1.5" HRG lift installed on my Badlands, 15,000 miles and several off-roading trips with no issues. My lowest clearance point (with 245/65/R17 tires) is 10.76 inches. The clearance at the pinch weld is a little over 13" I also bought their front skid plate (aluminum) and it...
  9. I want to blame Ford

Not a good idea to do this. The owner's manual calls out that you can damage the wiper motor by manually moving the wipers like this. You have to turn the engine off while the blade is out of the well if you want to maintain/replace the blade.
  10. Ford TSB 22-2485 - Wireless Charger Inoperative / Poor Performance With Magsafe Charging iPhones

That's weird that you have so many issues keeping it aligned. I'm able to keep my AirPods charging on the mat with little issue, even on not great roads. Maybe one of the cleaning products you used made the rubber area super slippery?
  11. Waterspots and brush scratches

I'll have to give that a try, though I'm guessing I'll need to get a polisher anyway with the little scratches on the fender.:crackup: Quite the helpful post. And NO!! brush marks as in the little scratches you get from the brush alongside 4WD trails like the photo below...
  12. Another long road trip in the "Brick"

Those errors might get corrected, but then you'll get to "discover" whole new problem areas!
  13. Waterspots and brush scratches

Anyone have product recommendations for getting waterspots off of the hood? I also have some light brush scratches I'd like to clean out of the paint and plastic on the front fender area. I've already tried to clay the hood, but it did not get all of the waterspot marks out. Both the...
  14. Another long road trip in the "Brick"

I've noticed on the long back-country roads that have many, many miles between speed signs that the system eventually drops the last speed sign it "saw" and goes with what's stored in the navigation system. Only really noticeable if there was a somewhat recent change in the speed limit. I...
  15. Looking for some advice

Disconnecting the sway bar for off-roading is fine and maybe even desirable in certain situations. I would not drive this vehicle at high speeds on the highway without it connected, especially with a lift kit!! This is bogus that the (St)ealership is not taking care of this issue when they're...
  16. 12V outlet for a cooler on long trips?

Your 12V outlets do stay energized for about an hour or so after you shut off the accessory power, beyond that you have to turn it on again. This feature is great for saving your battery, but sucks if you actually want to run a low-draw item overnight or something when camping.
  17. White roof wrap on Area 51 Bronco Sport

Thanks for sharing! I wanted to get the carbonized grey roof, but the dealer messed up my order. I really like the white roof and have been thinking of getting mine wrapped, it would be an awesome addition out in the desert at the moment!
  18. Hancook Dynapro AT2 opinions / reviews?

I've had mine on for about 9,000 miles so far and have been loving them. No issues off-roading in mud, sand and rocks. It was great on Elephant Hill Trail in Canyonlands NP, which has been known to pop some sidewalls if you're not careful. Also had no issues in the snow this winter, and heavy...
  19. Cross Country Road Trip - Bronco Sport Review, MPG, Pictures

I have the same size tires with a lift, and the only time I've ever gotten 28 MPG was with a 50 knot tailwind the entire drive from El Paso to Denver. Needless to say, I was super excited with the extended fuel range! Most long trips I average 24-25 MPG at highway speed (70-85) and 23 in the...
  20. 2021 Big Bend 50k miles

First thought is bad alternator- your battery may not be getting recharged after the jump. Requiring multiple jumps over several days was exactly how my vehicles in the past have behaved with a failed alternator. Unfortunately, this can also damage your battery, as when it is completely...
