On the Badlands it is by the rod that holds the hood up and kind of attached to the top of the radiator shroud on the left side. there is a cable with a rubber cap on the end of it. the plug is under the rubber cap.

Shouldn't be a problem. If you order your BS with a factory hitch, sway control is part of the package. Braking should be the same as any vehicle in it's weight class,
Mine should be here Monday unless BNSF decided to take an extensive tour of Casper Wyo. It was in Casper Fri morning should at least get to Billings by Sunday. Trucked from there to Rapid. I got Carbonized grey. I spend a bit of time agate hunting in the middle of nowhere. Rather the vehicle...
Have to stop by and see it when I come out to Sioux Falls Next weekend in my new BS BL. Got haul some stuff for youngest Daughter. Would like to see what rapid red really looks like.
Exactly right. Mine is so close I can taste it. In the last few days it passed just south of me and it is headed north west to the rail head in Montana.
I ordered an A-Tach #509268 mount off of ebay. Should have it on friday and my BS should be here at the same time. I think I will go with a lip mount on the rear lift gate. More as it all happens.
I will not miss the power lift gate on my Escape that much. Sure it was handy once in a while, but, I won't miss not coming down in a strong wind, at times it getting confused an just beeping when I try to lower it, surprise reopening when something is a little in the way, and going up or down...
Mine sat in a railyard in the middle of Chicago for 5 to 6 days. Now on it's way again. Chicago seems to be a staging area for north area of country. BNSF shipping west and CSX shipping east. I suppose they have to build up rail cars to make shipping more economical.
I'll be pulling my Starcraft Constellation popup camper. Sleeps 6 and has a combo chemical toilet and shower. Weight is under 1600 lbs. Even adding bedding and water it is under 2000 lbs.
My mistake. I checked with the service manager. My BS didn't turn west from Iowa. It headed over to Chicago. Last located passing thru Rochelle Ill. midday today. don't know which direction it was headed.
My salesman is checking with a friend of his who works at the railhead in Billings. I was just going over to talk to him just down the road from my house. He is actually trying to get his wife to let him buy my 69 Triumph Spitfire so I was going over to see him anyway.
