Did you put those tires on or did they come with the BS?
if you got them put on, the tire place may have over “lubed” the rim to mount the tire. The pressure from filling the tire to its PSI would lock the seams on the rim to keep the tire inflated, but over time based on driving terrain and...
you can get behind the grille without taking the entire front end off.
remove the top cover and the air intake to the air filter. This will open up the top in order to get behind the grille. You’ll have about a 3-4 inch gap to work with.
Mine was a “dealer loaner” for 4k miles before I got my hands on it. So I can’t say how it was driven before I got it, but it had its work cut out for it with me. I drive 100 miles a day full highway and fast lane.
I Can say that it feels a little different now compared to when I first got it...
My sound came back after it disappeared for a bit after my 10k service. I mentioned the issue and referenced posted service paperwork from another post in this thread… they couldn’t find anything.
the more and more I focus on it, it really sounds and feels like a loose shift cable. In lower...
they are low amperage, so I don’t think there would be an issue if you did splice into the parking lights.
I didn’t splice into them though. I had a 6 gang rocker switch that I had installed primarily for the 7” 3-way lights, so I just ran the raptor accents into the controller for the switch...
I’ve been looking everywhere to try and find the trunk cargo shelving system that is available for the BS. I know it’s an add on option for building, but I found mine on a lot and purchase “as is” (because it was the only one not on a recall list).
does anyone have a link to them? Or have...
I had a Jeep, and I got into the habit of waving to other Jeeps when driving mine. It’s a community thing. When I had myJeep, it wasn’t about having a trendy car. The other Jeep drivers on the road were drivers who got a Jeep to have fun with/in it. So the simple wave was a “hey, nice Jeep!”...
this was from an older post that I used to give to the dealership as a reference so they could investigate. What cable are you having to get replaced? If the noise comes back, I want to give them another focal point if it differed from the shifter cable referenced above.
I took my BS in for it’s 10k check and recall check. Mentioned the noise and gave reference to a previous post about the shifter cable. Mechanic took reference of the posted service receipt on here about the issue.
They ran tests, checked physical cable, etc… couldn’t find anything “wrong”...
i saw in another thread The other day about a drop down from RC that snapped. As soon as I get myBS back from the dealer for its recall check, 10k service, faulting rear TPS, and the ever so popular “what’s that noise”rattling, I’m measuring so I can order. Most aftermarket links are adjustable...
I just dropped my car off for my 10k inspection as well as recall check the Oil Separator, popped into my FordPass and saw yet another Recall notice that wasn’t there yesterday. Anyone else know about this one?
I’ve been able to get around the strut hat issue by installing some reinforced rubber spacer washers between the Strut and the RC spacer. Not an issue there for mine.
My biggest issue is that I’m having to re-tighten the sway bar links every now and again. I even got some thread hold and...
How long are the sway bar links from IIRC or HRG lifts for the same 1.5” RC lift?
I’ve been second guessing the sway links themselves and was looking to get replacements. But now I want to remove the drop downs too.
Has no effect on my sensors at all. I originally ordered the nudge bar with the 4 round lights, but the lights were on Back Order, so they wouldn’t send the Bar.
Called and told them to remove the light add on and found the 7” on Amazon for $100. They are mounted on the outside pre welded mounts...
I’m pretty sure all the trims do…but it doesn’t necessarily clarify to what extent it is “ready”. Still a lot of tear down to be done to add any accessories.
The amount of interior trim removal that needs to be done so you can then access the rough rack mounting bolts is ridiculous. Then have...
Brainstorming here… cause I’m the same way, I don’t want to drill into the body of the car just to run wires.
Getting behind the interior trim is pretty easy. I ran cables from my controller through the firewall and have my switch panel mounted between my sunglasses holder and my moonroof. Took...
