I had a deflector similar to this on one of my trucks. Do you find it traps debris on the backside? I removed it after a few months and found that it didn't drain that well and started to ruin the paint. It sounds like this is right on the hood with no gap?
Funny you mentioned that, the first time I noticed it was after I didn't use the car for a few days and we had some rain. I noticed rust on the discs as I approached the car but thought nothing of it. Figured it would be cleared when I hit the brakes.
It is a rhythmic sound that only happens while braking. It is the same noise level and thumping speed no matter how fast or slow I'm going. I don't think its the lug nuts as I added caliper covers recently and it made the same sound before and after wheels reinstalled.
My BS has just over 4k miles on it now and I'm noticing a thumping noise when I apply the brakes. Sounds like it's coming just from the front right side so its not normal as I don't hear it from the left side. Has anyone else heard this, like a thumping? I'm thinking loose caliper maybe. Haven't...
Had some nice weather so I was able to install the hood struts. Found out there are a lot of sharp metal edges along those fenders! If I can just get a hood pad I'll be all set in that area.
I think ceramic coatings are a good deal for a deep shine. I just did my BS and 2 other cars and still have about half a bottle left. Goes on easy and just wipe it off with microfiber towels. I used NexGen and was very pleased.

I had to check and my August delivery, 2021 included the dash trim panel in the passenger side. It did not come with the hood insulation pad or engine cover though. I guess something is better than nothing!
thanks for all the feedback. I think I'll place my order today. Just curious though if anyone has tried the other brands besides Redline. I noticed Amazon has at least 2 other companies selling them at $60 versus $100. Not much to screw up so I may go with the lower priced version.
I'm considering adding the hood struts to replace the rod. I've seen a couple of different brands with different mounting techniques. One was Kingsboomy and the other was Redline. Redline attaches to the top of the hood bracket and it looks like the Kingsboomy is closer to the fender. I believe...
I have a lab mix and she never had trouble getting in my Ram 1500. I thought the Bronco would be easier as it was lower. I think with the rear of the front seat being closer to the rear bench she didn't have as much room to jump up and in. I also noticed the door sill area was smaller and slick...
Yes, here's the title of the ad (they also have the HVAC trim and rear of center console in matte silver):

I wanted to make the interior look more upscale rather than having it as all black plastic. I didn't want to go with carbon fiber either as I felt it would require the entire interior trim be covered for consistency. I found a supplier that offered matte silver for the hvac and headlight...
