  1. Interior Fuse Block Access.

I can't see my cam behind the mirror so I haven't noticed it switching off and on. I'll have to watch for that next time I drive it. I wonder why the manual says 3 is not used if it's part of another circuit? I added a timed auto off switch for my UHF radio with a direct connection to the...
  2. Interior Fuse Block Access.

From what I could tell most of the fuses are constant on. I'm going to be using fuse slot 24 because its an unused 20 amp fuse that's always on. Also it's relatively easy to get at. If nothing else you could tap the heavier gauge red wire at the bottom of the fuse panel.
  3. Interior Fuse Block Access.

I wonder if there could be a difference in circuits between models. Mine is a Badlands + Badlands in case there is a difference. My dash cam comes on every time I turn on the ignition and off when I turn the vehicle off so I don't know what else it could be. Are you using a multimeter for...
  4. Interior Fuse Block Access.

Thanks for the tip. I assume it was the power for the seats adjustment motors.
  5. Interior Fuse Block Access.

I didn't connect parking mode yet so I haven't checked for an always on circuit. I'm adding a few more accessories starting tomorrow. I'll post if find a constant on fuse. It will give me an excuse to hook up the mode finally.
  6. Firewall Penetration - for power lead, antenna, cable, etc from under the dash to the engine compartment?

I considered going through an existing grommet but wasn't sure how well it could be sealed. Lots of silicone sealant I assume. I'll have to check the door route. Definitely prefer not to drill. But it would make things easier for current and any future mods I want to do. I asked the...
  7. Firewall Penetration - for power lead, antenna, cable, etc from under the dash to the engine compartment?

Has anyone run a power lead, antenna, cable, or whatever from under the dash to the engine compartment yet? I spent about 4 hours crawling around under the dash and engine compartment trying to find a safe place to drill. I'm still not confident of my picks yet to start drilling If you have...
  8. Is everyone's fordpass remote start/lock/unlock feature down right now?

I just started the BS .using voice commands with the Alexa + Ford Pass app Shut it off using the Ford Pass app. No problems. I'm using Android in case that makes a difference
  9. Surprise - my Badlands included Remote Start

The Ford Pass app also works with Alexa voice commands. So I guess someone can start their Bronco 3 ways. Yes, I have warmed up the BS and defrosted it's windows from the comfort of my shower because why not? ?
  10. Ford Service Action on Bronco Sport (extra material in the door latch)

Curiously my FSA alert on Ford Pass disappeared today. I went to make a service appointment to have it fixed and when I looked for the FSA number it was gone. If I enter my VIN # at the service department it still shows the alert.
  11. On-Road vs Off-Road Crossbars?

QUOTE="Ponds, post: 31426, member: 2700"] Sharp looking Bronco Sport! if you don’t mind, what’s the overall height with the cross bars? Thanks! Using a level and tape measure I got roughly 6' 4" from the highest part of the arch of the bar to the floor.
  12. On-Road vs Off-Road Crossbars?

These are the taller off-road crossbars on mine. The Yakimas weren't an option when I ordered but if they were I might have ordered them instead because of the lower height. If I added a roof basket to my OEM's I may not fit in the garage. Also, my bar positions are fixed. Not sure if the Yakima...
  13. Rigid Industries developing aftermarket light bar and pod for Bronco Sport

I have a feeling the 2022 Bronco Sport will have accessory switch's. Too many of us want to have those accessories. Personally I'm just looking at ditch lights and brush bar type light when I can get a brush bar. I figured it would be a lot easier to bring the power supply from the battery to...
  14. Bronco Sport custom job: body colored grille + vents and 2" lift

With 3 of us now we really deserve a group rate. Was that your awesome looking Iconic Silver Outerbanks in Apple Valley? Ford blew it with the washed out Photos in the Build n Price. That Silver and black combination almost made me regret getting the Alto Blue. Almost.
  15. Bronco Sport custom job: body colored grille + vents and 2" lift

Maybe the two of us can get a group discount :like:
  16. Bronco Sport custom job: body colored grille + vents and 2" lift

Thanks for posting this. I'm 45 minutes from from the Waldoch Headquarters and just asked them to notify me when they're ready to do some work on my Badlands. I have my accessory budget to spend and few places to spend it at..
  17. Interior Fuse Block Access.

I've never used one but there is a universal mirror to USB adapter that might work for your camera also. Example: Adapter . It taps into the power supply in a mirror or most likely in our case the dome lights constant power supply. It would take a little work and time to find the 12 volt...
  18. Interior Fuse Block Access.

Your welcome. I hope I can help prevent smoky mistakes . I'm unfortunately an accessory addict so I've done this too many times. My motorcycle has 8 USB and 3 - 12 volt taps for crap (accessories) for my cross country rides. I'm trying to get help. .
  19. Interior Fuse Block Access.

The slot I picked had a 10 amp fuse but I used a 5 amp. I added some detailed directions for adding a fuse tap for anyone who hasn't done this before.
