Do you us the automatic or the manual one? Iāve been doing a touchless automatic here in my town, but it doesnāt do a good wax job so I started washing it by hand with the wand in their bays, so Iām wondering if a manual one would cause this since I just started using it.
She got to meet her big brother last night at my dealership! I took a photo last night and today during the daytime for different lighting. Theyāre both Velocity Blue. Of course, Iām not buying that one because itās too expensive, but I thought I could do a kind of little photo session with the...
Ok that makes sense. I just donāt want them to stop trying to figure out what the problem is if theyāre still leaking. I was just worried that Ford was being cheap since they seemed to have cheapened out on other stuff like interior quality for example, which I donāt necessarily care about...
Itās the way he worded it, it couldāve been nicer Iām just saying. It came across as being an ass to me anyway. If he wasnāt being an ass then I apologize for getting on him. I donāt want to trade it in. As Iāve said I love my Bronco, Iām just disappointed. I want it fixed is all thatās all Iād...
There was NO NEED to be an ass about it. People do have a right to be upset. SORRY that it inconveniences you SOOOOO MUCH! You donāt have to look or respond to threads that talk about this, you can simply just ignore them and go about your day, ITāS JUST THAT EASY! Same to the other dude too who...
Ford is too cheap to do a proper fix. I feel like theyād rather do the minimum as possible by slapping a band aid on it that is approved by the NHTSA and call it a day. Itās honestly ridiculous in my opinion.
But no one else is having engine fires from cracked fuel injectors, just Ford as far as I know. There are several companies that make fuel injectors. Ford just picked one that was cheap because letās be honest, they arenāt spending the money on anything that is better quality that wonāt crack...
Idk why it should depend on severity that the system picks and chooses to warn you of a possible leak. It should just warn you when you have a leak regardless of severity because if you donāt know that your car is leaking fuel, it could get worse. I mean, not everyone is going to be keen to...
Yeah but it didnāt alert them of the leak like it should have. I thought that was the purpose of the software update was to alert the driver of a possible leak and to pull over right away.
Iām not saying donāt get the recall done, Iām just saying if itās not alerting the driver of a leak, then...
Yeah Iād like to know the mileage too. Also did you have the recall done before it happened? I thought there was a program installed that was supposed to warn you if your car started leaking fuel.
The dealer I bought from here in Illinois is my local small town dealer and they were fantastic! They definitely made the whole experience stress free and actually kind of fun, which I never had that buying a car anywhere else. They also never marked anything up and never added anything I didnāt...
Wait, what else is wrong with the 1.5 mechanically other than the recall? Now Iām curious.
I donāt want to trade my OBX in because I like it and I canāt order Velocity Blue anymore. Also, I canāt afford to trade it in either, I donāt want to do another loan if you know what I mean.
It makes me think though that it could be from the factory then because I have the exact same scratches on my rear glass and didnāt notice them until I was looking at the window decals I had put on. I can take pictures of mine when I get ready to leave for work in a bit.
I have them too and idk where they came from either. My guess is the same as yours though that it was probably the ice scraper but again idk.
Edit: looking at your pictures, your BS is in Velocity Blue which would make it a ā22 model correct? Because mine is a ā22 model with the scratches in...
Yeah idk, itās an ok engine, it gets up and goes and itās got a pretty good sounding growl behind it, but that recall did leave a bad taste in my mouth.
Edit: I did some research and Ford of Europe did infact do a recall on the 1.5 engine for the Fiesta, Focus, Puma, and Kuga...
