I mean if these fuel injectors are not the issue then why even go through all this trouble to do a recall? Seems silly to me that if they’re just like everyone else’s fuel injectors that they would be labeled as to why the recall is being performed and that Ford switched to a different fuel...
Story time:
To be honest, I was looking at the redesigned Kia Sportage, I had the Bronco Sport on the back burner though. The dealer out near Chicago low balled the trade in value of my Fusion. According to KBB, my Fusion was worth between $23,000 to $25,000. The Kia dealership offered me...
Yeah my 2020 Fusion I had was velocity blue as well so I knew I wanted that color again when I ordered my Bronco Sport. It’s my favorite shade of blue.
Yeah idk why they have to hate on the Sport, it doesn’t taint the Bronco name, it’s still a capable off roader. Is it as much of an off roader as the Bronco? No, but it’s still very capable from what I’ve seen in videos on YouTube.
Yeah there’s a lot of kinks they need to work out with EVs. To...
Yeah the Mach E is a joke to use the Mustang name. Idk if people even call it Mustang Mach E or just say Mach E. It would’ve been better if they had used the Fusion nameplate and branded it as a Ford badged product instead of a Mustang badged product.
This is strictly for Europe, it isn’t coming here. I heard it’s smaller than the Escape which begs the question as to why they would use the Explorer nameplate on something puny. Reminds me of what Chevrolet did to the Trailblazer….
My dealer said they get the 1 to 2 parts for the recall each week. I had called last week to get put on the list and they called me today to come in Friday to get it done. Just depends on the dealership I guess.
Huh, that must’ve been only for the Badlands at that time because my Outer Banks I ordered in May last year came with the standard black roof. I wonder what the issue is as to why they don’t want to do it.

“This defective design was introduced into production on November 19, 2018 (the earliest production date for the 2020 Escape) and was taken out of production on October 17, 2022 (the latest production date for the 2023...
You said new but you never stated new as in 2022 new or 2023 because the 2023’s are supposed to be built with the redesigned fuel injectors. I know my dealership has a 2022 BS brand new for sale so hopefully it was one of those that got fixed already. Mine has the recall.
According to the article, it was owners. I don’t know how many filed since they don’t tell you that, at least I don’t think they do, but it was owners that filed.
Did you get a letter from Ford to make an appointment with your dealership that parts are in? They said in the first letter to wait till they send out a second letter that will tell you that parts are available and to schedule an appointment to fix the recall. The first letter was just to notify...
It’s funny, just the other day I thought since Ford has the Mustang and the big Bronco, that the Bronco Sport should’ve been called the Pinto since it’s also deals with horses ?. Of course I know that name is forever tarnished, but just a thought I had to fit with their theme of classic...
I haven’t seen this posted, and I’m hoping I’m posting this in the right spot. I’m pretty sure I am since this involves a current recall, but there is a lawsuit filed for the 1.5 engine fire recall. I signed up for it.
Here’s the article talking about the lawsuit...
Yeah my dad and I have to get it done to his 22 Escape and my 22 BS. They ordered the parts for both of ours so now it’s just the waiting game, but it’s very obnoxious.
