I tried to find a thread covering this, but I couldnāt so Iām making a thread asking these questions.
I have an OBX and I test drove a BL yesterday and the leather they use to wrap their steering wheels are different. Like the OBX uses a thicker, tougher, textured leather while the BL uses a...
There are a lot of other parts a swap would need. Some expensive major parts.
I figured there would be, but thatās why I said if it didnāt cost an arm and a leg and it wouldnāt void my warranties, Iād do it in a heartbeat.
Probably, but I wouldnāt be the one doing it lol. Iām not a mechanic. Iād have someone else do it. I just wouldnāt think itād be difficult to do since the 2.0 liter fits in the BS with the Badlands trim.
Again, the 2.0 liter shouldāve been an option since the OBX is more of the luxury trim. I...
I wish it wouldāve been too since the OBX is supposed to be the luxury trim of the BS. I told my dad today that if it wouldnāt cost an arm and a leg and wouldnāt void my warranties, Iād try to have an engine swap done with the 2.0. It probably wouldnāt be hard.
Oh ok thank you. Yeah I just wanted to know so I could keep an eye on stuff. I have over 16,000 miles on it and only have had it for a year at the end of next month. I would think about getting a Badlands, but Iād have to order one with all the stuff I want. Plus money is tight rn and the...
Ok I tried looking, what issues other than the recalled fuel injectors does the 1.5 have?
My dealership has a Badlands in stock I went and test drove today. I really donāt want it even though itās a lot faster and smoother riding because itās almost bare bones compared to my fully loaded OBX...
I think thatās true lol! I know I do really bad, but it comes down to the finances and rn I cannot afford it. Itās sad because thereās an OBX 4 door Bronco on my dealerās lot in the same color as mine and has all the stuff mine has plus whatever comes with the big Bronco along with both a soft...
Exactly, I built a 2024 OBX like mine to a T and itās $2,000 more than what I paid for it in 2022. Although the only new feature the ā23 and ā24 got over my ā22 is the memory seating so thatās probably why the price went up in ā23, but I canāt give a reason why they went up again in ā24 only...
I have a few Bronco toys that Iām saving as collectables, this one included, but mine is just the normal Badlands in Velocity Blue like my OBX. I also have an RC version of the BS as well. My other Bronco collectables are just the bigger Bronco though lol.
Is it oil or gas because if itās gas, it could be cracked fuel injectors that has had a recall for the 1.5 3 cylinder if you have that engine. Of course Iām just assuming, but Iād take it in and have them look at it regardless.
Idk, I do know Cyber Orange costed a premium to get on the Sport, so maybe thatās why it and Alto Blue are gone, but again idk. I didnāt care for Area 51, but as I said I usually see Sports in that color along with the Shadow Black and I think Oxford White so Iām surprised itās discontinued...
That would be cool. Itās weird, Iām not big with orange cars, but my neighbor has a brand new Nissan Rogue in orange and I gotta say, it looks sharp. The Cyber Orange was more school bus yellow for my tastes, but had it been more orange, I mightāve looked at it.
Yeah I didnāt like Cyber Orange either ever since I saw pictures online with a BS in that color in a parking lot full of school buses, but Iām still surprised they dropped it.
Yeah I thought that wouldāve stuck around since that was the it color for the Badlands.
Idk why they donāt just have the same paint lineup with the bigger Bronco to keep it in the family, but I guess theyāre trying to keep the BS paint in line with the Maverick since theyāre built at the same...
Iām surprised they got rid of Area 51, I mean I got Velocity Blue on mine, but I thought Area 51 was one of the more popular colors for the Sport. I see Area 51 on Sports a lot by where I live.
Yeah I originally was looking at the redesigned Sportage before the Kia dealer I went to low balled me for my trade in on my Fusion, knowing full well it was worth more than they were offering me and that they would sell it for probably $10,000 more than they offered. This was during the tail...
I mean itās not bad, but my Fusion was better. It doesnāt look bad with the BS because itās more of a rough and tough SUV, but the Escape shouldnāt have that.
