*******************UPDATE**********
So at the end of the day, after multiple calls and chat fails, the "please don't sue us" department called me. They want to make it right. I am bringing the vehicle in to the dealer 1.5 hours away, however they are going to comp me for gas, time off work, and...
Thanks for the info. I do have Copilot+ thankfully. I didn't know about that stuff with the brakes. I have tried calling and using the online chat and they all refuse to give me an answer. I know its to dodge legal responsibility. They said by tomorrow I should hear from someone. I don't want...
No. Auto start/stop turns the engine off at an idle for like stoplights or long traffic to conserve gas but electronics still stay on. This I'm having the car shut off like I hit the start stop button. and exited the vehicle.
The vehicle will literally either shut off totally when stopped, or has 2x lurched at a slow speed and then shut off like if you messed up shifting to a start with a manual.
Thanks. The situation sucks, but I'm trying to keep this updated so everyone can see how Ford deals with this, and to help anyone who may also have this issue or any issue with their support teams.
Thanks. The one I have to drive 1.5 hours to has been great, but Ford should take more responsibility in the dealership quality. Its just very disheartening.
The fact that Ford themselves told me to just keep driving an unsafe vehicle shows there is a core issue. It's also unacceptable that you should have to go to a different dealer, because the mechanics at your local one are trash. Ford should hold all shops to a standard.
I should add that when I spoke with Ford on the phone (like the company, not my dealer) they asked if I had gotten any of the extended warranties. When I said no, she said there wasn't much they could do then. Why the HELL does the extended warranty matter when I haven't owned this vehicle for 2...
Hey all,
Just sharing my current horror story for my Bronco Sport. So basically I got in a pretty bad accident where someone ran a red light and totaled my car ( a Jeep Wrangler). Because of this I decided I wanted a larger safer car and went with the Bronco Sport. I have the Outer Banks package...
I avg about 31 MPG highway, but thats not really a reason. Had I known about the rubberized interior when I got mine, I may have gone with the BL instead lol Ultimately I was able to get the moon roof, tow package, and copilot plus and only had to wait a week for the unit. In the end, as long as...
Welp...
knew it was too good for me to get exactly what I wanted, so my first problem has presented itself. basically the windshield is warped on the lower driver side. When I first got it, driving felt like I was wearing the wrong prescription glasses. Its very subtle but unfortunately, it...
Heres my thoughts as a non car guy. I avg about 27.5 mpg in my Outer banks with mostly city driving. I would seriously doubt the 4 cyl does that, but I don't really have proof on hand for what the Badlands gas mileage is. As for the off roading stuff, sure its nice, but I don't think anyone...
I can back this as well. We have a Great Pyrenees whos on day 2 scratched the bumper before I could get one of these installed. Def a recommended purchase
