They are touchy. Have someone else drive it and see what they think. I’ve had to make adjustments via constant conscious effort. My 22 Expedition is even more sensitive.

Considering everything, because you mentioned tremor, at that price point I would also include a Ranger in your search. It’s an actual body on frame pickup. I drove a new one for the first time last week and I think it was smoother than my Badlands and the seats were way better.

As stated above, the starters and alternators are more robust. These new starters dont work like a conventional starter we‘re used to. When the engine stops rotating, the starter drive is reengaged with the flexplate teeth in position for the next restart. That means only the motor drive needs...

I don’t find them to be that bad. the fog lights on the BS are mounted so low and only illuminate the immediate area in front of the vehicle. It’s the newer, big lifted trucks that annoy me. They are already ridiculously bright from the factory, Huge/multiple LED lights on these lifted 3/4...
