Back in '73 or '74 I put a swing out tire carrier on my 1972 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup, worked perfectly. Now, on my 2025 Bronco Sport BLSQ I put a DirtCom swing out tire carrier on. At my age now, I don't want to unload the back end just to get the stupid spare out so now it hangs off the end of...
Top image is the new upgraded Trail swing from Dirtcom. Slightly different than the Instagram image kenmitch posted. Bottom image is with the spare tire mounted.
I finally figured out how to turn off the 'rear brake assist' myself. Dirtcom has upgraded the design of the Trail Swing from the one pictured above and I will post a picture tomorrow after I tweak the install a little bit, great unit.
I purchased a Ditcom Trail Swing rear tire carrier for my 25 Badlands. Looks great on the back. Problem is the rear back-up sensor(s) detect the carrier and want to stop the vehicle from backing up and applies the brakes. Quite annoying. I don't think there is any way to turn off the braking...
Thanks everyone, I also have a Trailrax on my 2025 Sasquatch with all the lights. Yes, going to be an Overlander and yes, did all that hunting and fishes with dad and family with only a tent and a few camping things all packed into an 1962 Mercury wagon.
I plan to install a rear tire carrier on my Bronco Sport. I also planed on getting a dash cam. This setup might take care of two questions/problems I have running in my mind at the moment. Thanks for the post...
I see that, I checked mine out and there it is on both sides. I'm getting a rack on mine next week so not sure I can use those accessory ready spots. I wish Ford had the new accessories first, hope they don't drag them out.
Dude, you might check out Rough Country also for brackets. Rough Country also makes a license plate bracket for small light bars. This might work for underneath your license plate or just bolt in on.
Here is a good start to mount lights on the brush guard. These are clamps that should work out OK.

I have a cowl bracket for each side. You loosen the hood hinge and sandwich them in-between the hood and hinge. Just make sure you apply painters tape around the hinge on the hood in case the hood moves on you. The tape helps to reposition the hood to hinge.
If I mount a light bar it would go...
I am using a pair of KC Flex ERA3 lights with the added amber lenses. It snows here in Idaho so the amber lenses help with reflections. A little pricey but don't have to worry too much about moisture getting into the light. I worry about that with the less expensive lights. I might install a...
I can't start the project for two to three weeks. I need the blessing from the ditch light manufacture because I plan to change the wiring a little. I wish the auxiliary switches were rated more than 10 amps. I want to save the 30 amp switch for something else down the road.
I am doing the exact same thing, going to add some ditch lights first. Before you start, get some trim tools as you are going to need to pop the fender liners to get to the wires on either side.
Yeah, that's marketing for you. You can't mount a light bar on the front...sort of. A standard one will block either the ACC module or your front facing camera. Rough Country makes a license plate adapter for a small light bar, I am looking into this. You would need to fabricate a winch mounting...
No mounting points on the new vehicles, it is still up to you. Unfortunately its going to be a while before the after market folks get on the accessory band wagon. The new Bronco Sports seem to have great potential for these accessories.
Yes, I ordered a Sasquatch which comes with the switches.
