  1. Sport Mode...

Fun, there’s gotta be a way to turn that off…
  2. Can stock BS BL do Sedona Trails? Ex: Soldier Pass and Devils Bridge

Im not familiar with the trail but what is it rated? A stock BL can handle moderate rated trails but it needs more clearance to do anything more than that.
  3. Sport Mode...

No its just in sound through the speakers to make it sound...more sporty. Unfortunately not an uncommon things and many automakers do it.
  4. Is Ford going to majorly change the look of the bronco as the years go by?

Ford got the memo with this and I think it'll be the 25 Badlands. People wanted more clearance...they get more clearance....people wanted more aggressive tires...they'll get more aggressive tires. It'll be interesting for me to see if Ford offers that factory lift as I want to lift my car but I...
  5. Does anyone prefer the Bronco Sport over the regular Bronco? (Or vice versa)

There entirely different animals despite the name. And I prefer the Sport, it fits my needs better and I just dont have the need for a purpose built off roader. I have one car and this car needs to take me fishing, to work, take the dogs to the groomer, the brewery, road trips etc. The big...
  6. What is everyone wanting to see under the Christmas tree this year?

New tires for the car. Won’t be snowy in the front range for a few months but I really am not a fan of the ATRs in the snow. Lift kit would be cool too.
  7. 2024 Badlands - question on tires...

Scorpion ATRs, they’re fine for loose dirt/highway not very good on snow/ice. I’m getting ready to switch mine out for Falkens which can also come stock. The ones you posted the link to are not the stock ATRs you’ll get. You’ll either get the ATRs or the more aggressive Falken Wildpeaks
  8. Too Much Time on my Hands

Hey congrats. Waiting on the car is the hardest part I swear. I know I went a little nuts waiting for mine…actually I’m sure I was starting to piss Ford off even. But well worth the wait. I watched a lot of YouTube videos as well and the ones that annoyed me were the ones that would be like...
  9. Move up (maybe) to a full size Bronco?

Hey it finally came in, congrats, looks great. And glad to hear the little Sport has grown on you. And I agree it really is a good utilitarian car. It does nothing the best but the engine is strong and its really pretty decent all around.
  10. 2025 Bronco Sport spied testing

If the 25 comes with a better ride height that'll be a significant improvement. It really is the only knock on this car as far as I can tell. I have driven this thing off road and continue to do so and some may remember some of my adventures with the car. I dont think anyone intends to take...
  11. 4x4 function

Its an AWD drive car, it'll kick power to the back if it feels slipping in the front wheels. The center and rear locks keep power going to all four. The rear locker is electronically engaged and will disengage speeds automatically at a certain speed, somewhere around 15-20mph best I can tell...
  12. Ford Among Companies With Worst Data Privacy Practices

Does your cell phone know where you are?
  13. Bronco Sport Raptor??

I’ll be the negative Nancy here and say it’s never going to happen. Same with the Maverick. It doesn’t fit in with with these cars places in the market and a raptor version would cost considerably more placing this car into a different price segment altogether and car would not be competitive...
  14. Goat modes

I think you and I discussed this and I was pretty adamant about my opinion, but you are right about this. Now I think it can help in stop and go city driving but it is just engine mapping. Having a lighter right foot will do the same thing.
  15. Big Bronco Wildtrak vs. Bronco Sport Badlands off-road shootout (driving sports TV)

Hey guys, watch as I spin the fuck out of the tires in this loose dirt, dig a deeper hole and be surprised when it doesn’t make it up this hill… Sure gee golly I thought it was going to make it, kinda disappointing
  16. "Huge off-road capability makes up for an Ikea interior and a relatively steep price." The Drive reviews the Bronco Sport Heritage

Pretty high praise… “The Bronco Sport is a bona fide off-roader built on bones that never had any business being a bona fide off-roader–and that is its real selling point. So, if you don’t mind a bit of hard plastic and you like climbing dusty mountains without the compromise of a truck, this...
  17. How do the stock ATRs do in the snow? (Yes its a hot day in August, I know)

I appreciate that and it kind of verifies my apprehension about them. The tread just doesn't look good for snow, seems like it'd pack up easily.
  18. How do the stock ATRs do in the snow? (Yes its a hot day in August, I know)

I am moving back to Colorado, and its just what that state needs, another Californian....tbf though I got my undergrad degree there and lived there for quite a while before moving away for various reasons. And I'm preparing for the move. I was wondering, how do the stock tires do in the snow...
  19. Keeping your Bronco Sport how long?

Five to ten years is the goal. I'm financing and plan to keep for a while after I pay off the bank. After that I'll probably bump up into something in the grand cherokee size range.
  20. Kinetic rope question

Yea I’m still annoyed about that. I wanted to take the line to the right of car in the photo. It looked better and not to mention his Badsquatch almost got stuck in that same hole moments before…why he thought my car, which has far less clearance would make it out I have no idea. So I started...
