Hyundai going with a new LC kind of look. I dont mind it. It'll be interesting to see if they added any more kit to make it more off-roady of if its squarely positioned at the CUV market like it was.
Ways to improve street handling? Maybe different tires but you'd have to retune the suspension, steering and other things I'm sure I'm unaware of.
The car is a bit of a boat, it wants to roll, but Ford did that with the off road handing in mind.
Things you should know ahead of time...I would...
I took the sport off mine and it does look better. And I know some people will say it’s not a true bronco, which clearly it’s not what gave that away and I really didn’t want one anyway could’ve gotten the big bend if I did, and the front grill says bronco.
I think the tailgate looks much...
They're two very different cars. Big Bronco is a Wrangler rival and the Sport is a more capable CUV. I imagine Ford doesn't want to send the wrong message by allowing Sport owners access to the trails app. Make no mistake the car can do trails but allowing access almost encourages users to go...
I’m looking to replace my stock ATRs but I’m putting it off due to cost…I hate asking this bc I’m not a cheap person but are there any promos on these tires?
Cheapest tow out there. 10yrs ago I had a really unreliable car and whenever it broke down I’d renew my AAA membership and they’d head on out no questions asked.
You should've seen me try to navigate an icy double roundabout....car just wanted to go straight, pain in the ass. I may just suck it up and get the dam tires. If we get another snow....well we will....but if I see another winter storm coming I'm going to do it and get it over with.
My car is...
That or they didn't know or didn't engage the 4Hi or 4Lo. 4Runner is still kind of a basic car in that it doesn't have a full time 4WD and it has to be selected and you can only engage it in a relatively small set of circumstances, its certainly not a full time system.
Yea I tend to be a big long winded. The TL;DR is I like the 4x4 mode and rear locker in the snow and slippery conditions, makes it feel more like a 4Hi car which is nice. Also not a fan of the stock tires.
Slippery mode is helpful as it lowers the shift points too which can be helpful in low...
I think the OEM stock tires are good for like what 2yrs roughly? Could be wrong. I'll be happy to get some Falkens though. The snowiest season isn't January out here its actually the Spring and I'll really need them then.
Oh for sure. I didn’t intend to say keep those on at all times, but if it’s slick out or there’s fresh snow they can help. Ya for normal driving absolutely keep them off.
And for myself I can say it is.
I have a '22 Badlands that ordered in November 21 and received it in March 22. At the time I was living in San Diego and almost immediately put it through its paces throughout California, Colorado, Montana etc. While there I used it in typical traffic and did one...
Its so hard to judge from the photos the clearance in the photo but I agree itd be a concern. You'll be able to get on on the rock on the left side fine but yea, the shelf might scrape. I'd go for it but thats me. I'd have someone outside the car spotting the line on the left. Ideally you'd get...
That would be very cool and I am interested to see that. I also like how Ford quite clearly is listening to consumer and youtube reviews on the car. I'm also interested in the factory lift because if they offer that for my '22 as a kit, I will be buying that. Love the car, fits my needs really...
I would assume it has a true low then. That has been a consistent knock on the car and a favorite criticism. Yea the AWD/4WD is good but it doesn't have a low gear so its not an off roader.
Ford really did a dam good job with the awd/4wd system, the car will scratch and claw and find traction, it really is a very good system.
So much so it influenced other manufacturers to improve their systems and up their game a bit. You can see that with the Trailsport, the new baby LC, Subaru...
