  1. What did you own before your Bronco Sport?

2017 F150 5.0 with a mild lift, 35s, tune, engine bolt-ons, etc. I do really miss it, but the mileage in the BS is a whole different game.
  2. One more thing to add to the BS missing parts list?

My dealer's been pretty good overall. Can't complain much. They did give me a discount on my tires that I felt covered it. For any larger trips in the future, I plan to buy a nice basket to throw a full-size spare in.
  3. One more thing to add to the BS missing parts list?

Mine was supposed to come with a full-size spare but came with absolutely no spare at all. They threw in a donut, but I took it out to put in a subwoofer anyway. I'm missing my funnel and engine cover as well, but I don't really care about that all too much.
  4. Remote Start

Ah, it was the big bend package that included the FOB with remote start? That seems a tad silly. Ford is so ahead of the times in some aspects, but way in the past in others. Strange stuff.
  5. Remote Start

Ah rats, is yours the base? I can't find anything on their website that states otherwise, but maybe the base doesn't come with the FOB remote start. It's funny that my XL F150 came with the 3x lock option for remote start. Maybe it was a module added by my dealer...hm.
  6. Ford Canada Extended Warranties

My dealership only asked if I was interested in the warranty - they told me the rust proofing and maintenance plan aren't really worth it at the prices they give. Ended up getting it rust-proofed far cheaper by a 3rd party and plan to do most maintenance myself. Can you take advantage of the...
  7. Remote Start

Try locking your doors three times. My F150 was the same way - no remote start button on the FOB, but 3x lock worked like a charm.
  8. Aftermarket Exhaust for both 1.5 and 2.0

What's the actual attraction to modifying these little Bronco Sports so much? It's a friggin 3 or 4-cylinder and sounds even more gutless than stock with an exhaust. I can't wrap my head around it. Out of everyone that I've shown exhaust clips to, not a single person (car and truck guys...
  9. Is the Honeymoon over already?

I mean, I think it's pretty obvious what the Bronco Sport can and cannot do. Ford never hid anything from us, the capabilities are clearly far lower than that of the Bronco or a truck. If you knew that you'd want to tow, why'd you even go with this vehicle in the first place? Seems like you got...
  10. Upset over missing engine cover!

Why? How often are you looking under your engine? Do you think the cover honestly does anything other than get in the way when you bring it to the shop? Everyone's talking about modifying this, modifying that. Holy god, it's a friggin' Bronco SPORT with a small ass engine. I can't take the...
  11. Hello from Canada

I've been TRYING to lose traction with the AT3Ws. I think between the lack of power (it's quick enough, but it will never break loose like my 5.0 did hah), the tires, and the AWD system - it's a pretty friggin' bulletproof setup. I'm super impressed with them so far.
  12. Bronco Sport Takes Forever to Get to Operating Temperature

If it's just about letting the engine warm up to an operating temperature, don't worry. Sit in the vehicle long enough to let the oil move around and then start driving. Modern engines have such tight tolerances and low viscosity oil that you don't need to sit idle to wait for the engine...
  13. Bronco Sport Takes Forever to Get to Operating Temperature

Using the 15-minute "set and forget" remote start each morning works well for me. I've had no problems jumping into a warm vehicle each morning, and it's been about 10F here as of late. I'd definitely be bringing that in to get it looked at, just to echo everyone else - hah.
  14. Factory OEM tires vs. Wildpeak A/T Trails vs AT3Ws - (Big Bend)

I'm running stock-sized AT3Ws on my Big Bend, getting around 8L/100km with I'd say 70/30 town/highway driving. Snow, slush, mud, etc. So far it's been great. Could be overkill, but they've done well so far this season. I'd say running 225/65R17 is more than enough for the Bronco Sport. I'm...
  15. Yokohama vs Pirelli vs Falken

I've only been driving the Bronco Sport for a few weeks, but I've dealt with gravel, mud, and snow both in-town and on the highway in a short while. Currently running stock sized 225/65R17 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws on stock rims and I love it. Tried to spin the tires a few times today after the...
  16. 2017 F-150 FX4 to 2021 Bronco Sport BB

We work on a favour for a favour around here, but sometimes it's definitely a fuel/beer/pizza kind of deal, hah.
  17. 2017 F-150 FX4 to 2021 Bronco Sport BB

My truck wasn't "heavily" modded, but it was definitely done up more than most. I always have the itch with my vehicles, and the fact that I can get OEM stuff that kind of just "works" without much wrench time for the Bronco Sport is nice. I don't think I'll end up lifting/levelling this poor...
  18. 2017 F-150 FX4 to 2021 Bronco Sport BB

I definitely miss the truck, but not as much as I figured I would. Somehow the 1.5L still makes me smile. My dogs also love the rear window opening. Haven't tried it while driving yet, but I imagine if I bungied it up, it wouldn't be too bad.
  19. 2017 F-150 FX4 to 2021 Bronco Sport BB

Honestly, with the amount of dirt already on the side, I was thinking about mudflaps earlier today. I need to secure my subwoofer and all first though - priorities! Hah.
  20. 2017 F-150 FX4 to 2021 Bronco Sport BB

I've had the thrill of already telling 3 people I don't own a truck anymore. It's wild how much I used my truck for others - but I always did it because I wanted to, at the very least. Today was the first big snow dump here, and aside from slamming down half throttle from a full stop, I didn't...
