    I updated both our BL and Escape to 23188. My Escape had the problematic 22251 and my wife's Badlands had an earlier 3.4 version. Both updated to 23188 by USB download from Ford. No issues once I followed the detailed instructions.

    Cabin air filter much easier to change than on my '14 Escape where it was down low in the center of the dash. Very easy DIY now. The '14 was o.k. to do, just longer.

    I drove a stick from 1983 to 2015. My 2011 VW JSW TDI had a hill hold feature that would hold the brakes briefly before releasing. A neat feature on steep inclines.
