Her lungs are in fantastic shape. She was only on the vent because the sedatives and painkillers they had her on for surgery and pain management reduce the natural instinct to breathe. It was just a matter of waiting a few days for the drug concoction to leave her system, then her own instincts...
Thank you all so much for your prayers. The ventilator was removed today and I sat with mom for over 8 hours just talking and enjoying her company. She's rattled and a little scared, but still with us and getting stronger every day. I got a laugh out of her when I told her how fast I got the...
This Christmas has not been kind to myself or my family. My otherwise healthy mother went to the emergency room on Christmas Eve where she then experienced massive internal bleeding out of the blue. Doctors told us she probably would not survive the emergency surgery (even though she's only 60)...
I was at the grocery store recently and saw a Robin's Egg HE in the lot. I started inching towards it to park next to it when the owner of the vehicle literally sprinted out of the grocery store to my driver's window. I was only nervous for a moment about a random man charging towards my car...
I'm a very tactile person and would hate to lose the physical buttons. I've actively avoided other new cars because of this problem. Fingers crossed the giant screen is only for testing purposes.
The lights were the first safety feature I was grateful for after moving up from my 2013 Hyundai Accent. I was always terrified to drive at night because the Hyundai's headlights are truly awful and the car was so low to the ground, I could never see much in the dark. Ford did a wonderful job...
Happened with mine too. I accidentally shut the door on the buckle and left a scratch in the paint. Luckily it was the paint inside the door trim, but definitely a bummer since the vehicle was only a month old when I did it.
Most folks add the lift themselves or go through a reputable off road shop with experience installing lifts. I'd never have dealership employee 19 year old Joe Bob who can't remember to put the oil plug back in 70% of the time be the one to modify the geometry of my brand new vehicle. I never...
Annoying to install but worth the struggle. They aren't a perfect fit but I explained the process to make them work in this post: https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/oracle-led-grille-bronco-lettering-installed-on-bronco-sport-badlands.7719/
I'm a year and a half in with mine. No issues. They've lived in the AZ desert heat (had a few 120 degree days last summer) and now the rains of the western NC mountains.
The option you installed is about half the price of the Oracle lettering, which is nice. Please keep us posted on longevity. Any attempt to install them on your Sport yet?
The absolute best thing folks can do is leave coyotes alone and let them do their natural predatory thing. They mostly go after fawns, but there is evidence of them preying on mature adult deer too. In some areas, 40% of a coyote's winter diet is comprised of deer.
Unfortunately, I haven't...
So glad you got such a beautiful view of my "office!" Working for the FS is one of the big reasons I have a Badlands - I wanted to be able to actually get to the trailheads I manage down rough FS roads. I was at Looking Glass Rock Overlook standing in that exact spot just a couple weeks ago.
Got my new dash cam up and running. These have gotten much better since I was a kid. I can actually read license plates and see details on this thing. Gives me some peace of mind.
