I was surprised so many of the options in my poll were taken in NC! Elegance was my first choice, also tried Badlands, Velocity, and Wild. BUILTWLD was one of the only options that were actually open. I really do like it though.
1. Yeah. I heard a faint weirdness then muted the radio to listen in and try and determine what I was hearing. At first, I thought the "ticking" was something small rattling against the exterior of the car. Then I pinpointed as I drove and knew it was coming from the engine.
2. Yep. Never heard...
I've never heard it before, no. I was caught off guard but had been driving for 9 hours by the point I finally hit the NC mountains. I was around the corner from home and didn't notice any acceleration issues, so I just kept going. I'll put premium in it next fill up. Something to get checked...
No, it happened whenever I'd give it a little more pedal and kick it up to a specific gear (not sure how to discern which gear I was in). It was odd because it only seemed to do it in one middle gear, then when I'd give it even more acceleration into the next highest gear, the noise would stop...
I wouldn't stress. Yours looks great! I always worried mine was too far right, but I eventually just accepted that it's slightly different on everyone's since it's not an OEM install. To each their own, right?
Mine doesn't do this when idling, but I heard a similar clicking/tapping noise while driving yesterday. I was on I-26 going up a steep mountain at around 65 mph. Normal noise? Would only happen when I stepped on the accelerator hard.
Eugh...not for me. I think this is what cheap cologne looks like in car form. Less is more most of the time. It's not subtle enough and a lot of the mods aren't cohesive with each other. To each their own, though.
The docs aren't sure themselves. The condition is called an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) and a rupture is almost always fatal. They theorized it's likely a genetic defect that caused the branch of arteries and veins behind her pancreas to be weak and thin-walled. My brother and I will have to...
She's wonderful. The concoction of drugs has worn off, so she's right minded again and I go in for a few hours every day to keep her company and chat. Physically, I'm amazed at her progress after 2 incredibly risky surgeries. She's back on solid foods and spent this morning shuffling up and down...
Got my slightly late 15k oil change and tire rotation. The service department folks were complimenting my BL and a few followed me out to see how pretty the roast leather seats are.
I also got to test drive a full size 2 door BL with Squatch package while I waited. Super fun to drive! It was...
Mine is in for an oil change right now and I saw this Desert Sand BB on the dealer's lot. It looks strangely Cactus Grey in the right light. You can see the comparison between the two colors on the Cactus Grey BB behind it. Very subtle and very nice in person.
Car wash averse is the best way to describe me since I'm a bit picky about how my car is detailed. I always do it by hand, always with Chemical Guys products. I bought a pressure washer and a foam cannon which significantly cut down on the amount of time spent on the exterior. Doing it by hand...
When your oil is changed, your technician or yourself can navigate to the oil life screen using the buttons on your steering wheel. From there, you can reset the oil life which will reset the oil change mileage in Fordpass as well. This step was probably skipped, so Fordpass is warning you too...
