@biglarrr if the tire is the same size as what's on the ground, you could still dismount and mount the injured tire as the spare and keep the new tire on the ground. It would involve a little more work though.
@BoxerBronco if you wouldn't mind elaborating your experience with these tires, they are a new product to the market and there are other forum members inquiring about there overall performance. Noise, traction, ride quality etc: @hwildey if you could chime in as well it would be much appreciated.

@jliebig, absolutely, tire manufacturers simply give you an option for sidewall preference. White or Black facing out. There would be no difference in performance :like:
