This is an old topic, but was wondering are owners of newer Bronco Sports are still experiencing "moaning" from rear brakes when backing up vehicle in wet and/or colder weather? I understand that the cause is surface rust on brakes and noise stops after driving. I had thought this issue had...
Good luck!!
And if the moaning is coming when you back up it could be the rear brakesmoaning issue

‘21 BL here, moaning since 10k miles. Last TSB in 2023 applied, no change. Still on original brakes. Haven’t bothered to take it back in, just accepting it for now.
My 22 BS Badlands was still under warranty when I took it in for inspection and oil change. The service advisor asked me did I want the SB about rear brakesmoaning addressed. He said it was still under warranty and would be covered. Problem was addressed with no issue or cost to be me. Masano...
I have the same model, same year, same problem and same pathetic excuses from Ford... Moaningbrakes in reverse and I only have 13,500 miles on the vehicle. I live in South Florida. I have a Ford extended warranty (Premium + or whatever the best full coverage warranty is called) AND they still...
I was just getting ready to post a new thread on this subject. RDU replacement, which I was just informed of needing. He said it's Only $2500 to replace rather than fix.
Going back and researching all the work I have had done that started with the dreaded Moaning noise when backing up.
Think I...

I had an appointment scheduled for this week to do the fix from TSB 23-2308 for the moaningbrakes issue, and the dealership called to say Ford has issued a stop order on it and won’t allow the parts to be installed now.
I presume it’s because they’re reportedly working on another TSB coming in...
I didn't notice any difference in the brakes as far as being firmer. It's been very rainy and in the upper 30's here in Buffalo and so far so good as far as the moaning sound. This fix I had done a month ago seems to have done the trick. ( knock knock)

I purchased the Premium Plus (1000+) extended warranty after the factory warranty expired. I only have 13,500 miles on the vehicle and I want to keep it a while longer. My claim was denied as a covered repair, even though the TSB 24-2348 stated the repairs for this (Brake Caliper Springs...
Over 50,000 on my Big Bend. No issues besides the moaningbrakes but that stopped on it's own. Bought me a 2009 Kia Optima with almost 200,000 miles to to help keep the miles off the Bronco.
