Seven psi doesn't affect the ride that much try it, it sure save tread wear issues.

I used to work for NASCAR, 1psi can change a tires contact patch. 7psi. will drastically change the contact patch. Especially on a light Bronco Sport with a narrow tire. The higher you increase the psi the less traction the tire will have. This will shorten the life of the tire and more importantly increase the braking distance. Odds are when that tire (7psi overinflated) is warmed up on the freeway it is dangerously close to the tires MAX psi or even over.

The Badlands Sasquatch with Territory R/T’s are rated to 51 psi max, so starting at 40psi (7 over), I don’t think you would hit that even on Arizona highways in the summer (I’ve only seen 4-5 added pounds at most), but you’re still right about over inflation in general.

Won't argue with Nascar tire setup anyone knows those cars are strictly for racing just a fraction of inches makes or loses, On a 95 degree day at 40 psi running 70 mph my tires won't gain 3psi if that so I'm not losing sleep over so called center tire wear or poor ride control mister Nascar.
