That's what I was thinking. I just always like to get a second opinion. Thank you for the response.Unfortunately the coolant level looks low. You can fill the coolant resovoir to a more normal level and keep an eye on it.
More likely than not your Sport has a coolant leak and usually it's the water pump. If your vehicle is still under warranty take it to the dealer so they can make it right
Yes most Ford dealership service departments are friendly helpful and want to make things right. Unfortunately there are some out there who get an attitude especially if you are somewhat educated on the known issues with the Bronco Sport. I know someone who experienced this and it was difficult to get them to do anything other than the bare minimum and they constantly said they couldn't find anything or there was nothing else they could do etc. I think he went to another Ford dealer and they made him feel like He needed to go back to the original dealer since that's where he started. My coolant was low out of nowhere and I took it in and they couldn't find anything. I took it back again a month later, and they found that there was coolant in two of the cylinders and had to replace the engine.
Few months later, had the transmission changed (for a different issue) and got it back with my coolant below minimum again. I'm dreading bringing it back.![]()
Funny that you should bring that up. My 2024 ( 22k miles) is parked at the dealer with engine misfire (cylinder 1&2) warning light and low coolant. They've had it for a week now. Conventional wisdom would indicate a bad head gasket or cracked head or block. We'll see. In the meantime, they gave me an Edge as a loaner. Not quite the same.My coolant was low out of nowhere and I took it in and they couldn't find anything.
