So I did some reading on those billstein dampers on the hoss 3.0, which only comes with a sasquatch package. And while it's cool that they have the piggyback
Reservoirs, my understanding is that you only really need that if you're going over so many bumps that the fluid is heating up, and it needs the extra fluid to cool off.But it's coo
Also, it says it has position sensitive dampers.So I don't know how that would work If you retrofitted them, I guess you just wouldn't plug that part in.And since it would be on an older one that didn't have that in the first place, it wouldn't matter. But it would be interesting to know what that does in the computer.Can it actually change the valving on the fly in the computer?Like the fox live valves or the oh chevy.Has it too with something?I can't remember it's like dssv.Or something.
It does say that it increases ground clearance and from what I remember ours being so it would probably work on ours and even with a small lift if there is a life that's only like half an inch or so, because I think our front had like seven point eight inches of articulation and the rear had eight.And these new ones are like 8.5 and 8.7. I think so you'd have to be careful if you put them on it, lifted bad lands.
but other than that, I mean, it doesn't look like the mounting points are different. So as long as they are, and it has more travel, and it's more overall length.I would think that you would be fine.You know, you just don't want shorter ones.Cuz, then you'll end up breaking it.If you ever actually articulate it more than that, they're not made to take all that weight.
i will say, though, it's probably not gonna be worth it because it's probably gonna be crazy expensive to find some unless you can get some takeoffs.And i'm betting that anyone who does do a lift and takes them off is going to charge a pretty penny for them. I would love to ride in a new one and just see what the ride is like on the street and off road and see if it is better.And how much better.
I am the one with the air suspension.So, this isn't something I would do, but I would definitely be interested.If I didn't have the air suspension. I know that on my dampers that come with my air suspension, the rears have twenty one different adjustment points.And it is really nice and you can fine tune it to how you want.And then in the front, it doesn't have a little knob that you can turn.But what you can do is you can tighten down the nut on the spring, more or less to affect the damping rate sum in the front.And it's pretty cool.

I saw possibly a reddit post where a person tried that on a compass with a b8 terrasport kit and it didnt work properly. Somehow I am under the impression the b8 dont have as much travel as regular bronco shocks and struts, most of the posts on that series are from people lowering their suspension. But Im just guessing.
