Long MacArthur Ford does a weekly build update on all models...the latest episode is up on you tube...Hermosillo is running BS production till Nov or Dec...Plus I just ordered a 25 Badlands so i know the order banks are still open on the 25 model year.

I appreciate the info. I did check it out, looks like they are going to be moving into the 2026 Maverick builds pretty soon. They mentioned 2025 is on clean up scheduling so I’m wondering if that means something soon will be mentioned from Ford on the 2026 model. I’d order a 2025 but I’m most interested in the new color option at this point.

I do not. I’m just going off the assumption of seeing the 2026 Mavericks in that color and the fact they share the same plant. I haven’t ran across any special colors yet in person but hope to get this verified by an official announcement or in person with prototypes. Pretty confident though as it’s almost a fleet wide color option through Ford right now

Why grey?

It’s just a very sharp color to me. Good contrast with the trim and black accents. Example below on a Ranger Raptor

From Ford once they actually announce the 2026’s. I’m surprised they haven’t already.

I read somewhere that the order banks for the 2026 will be in November and they will start being delivered in February. But who knows how reliable that info is.

We should see something soon on the Ford site, either in SUV's & Cars or Future Vehicles. Seems like the whole model year timeline keeps slipping to the right. New model year cars used to be on lots in September.

While the end of 2025 is rapidly approaching, there has not been that much news regarding 2026 Sports other than the possibility of additional colors and potentially a Tremor package. I'd be more interested if 2026 adds another price hike. Depending on options, the 2025's were approaching 50k, will 2026 push the price over that mark, we'll have to wait and see.

Maybe one or two new or returning colors, drop an underselling color, possibly a “special edition” (paint & decals), Tremor unlikely.

With 2025 being a refresh year, I don’t see anything substantial in ‘26.

Not that I’m impatient but I did play with the idea of ordering a 2025 today and my dealer told me they aren’t taking any orders because they won’t be scheduled for build so maybe it’s a sign the 2026 order banks are approaching soon.
