I believe Ford just issued recalls on other vehicles with this issue earlier this week (big Bronco among them). Wonder if this will become a widespread issue with the BS… ?
I see tons of Sports on the road these days…. While I do worry about the longevity of the 3-banger, it’s been a solid vehicle so far.
Speaking of older cars… My wife drives a ‘07 Tahoe we’ve had since new. It’s got 321k miles on it. A couple of small issues (a tear in 1 seat and a wonky...
2023 Bronco Sport Heritage trim
Needed a new vehicle right away (2011 GTi, blew a rear main). Several other items (new headliner among them) added up to a big number to repair a 12 yr old car with nearly 150k miles - no thanks.
I wanted:
Something on the dealers lot
AWD
4-door SUV style...
Have to agree. It’s a pretty Mickey Mouse charging setup, especially for newer phones with the bump out on the case to accommodate the camera. I did change from an Apple case to a Caudabe brand case and it is a bit better. YMMV.
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed. We visit the Inverness area quite frequently and will definitely put this onto our list of places to check out!
Those elevation changes you enjoyed are thanks to the Central Ridge in FL, which puts some areas in the vicinity of about 250’ above sea level in some...
Let’s hope so… Ford needs to stop the bleeding and reduce warranty claims below the estimated $25 million per DAY, across all platforms so, let’s hope the new MPC architecture is a step in the right direction
I would also have the dealer check to make sure the grille shutters are working properly. (If your model is equipped with them… I know the 3cyl. has them)
If you’re running hotter, all the time, perhaps the shutters are stuck in the closed position and restricting airflow to the radiator
I also have a Bronco Sport in Heritage trim with the 1.5l 3-banger in it. I've never come close to that mileage on an extended trip and i really don't get on it that hard... I had a 4+ hour trip late summer. Eco mode... drove it with a very soft pedal, in an attempt to see what sort of...
Yep... tried both... same situatoin... i just have to modify my standard practice which, after almost 45 years of driving should be close to impossible ?
Don't know about anyone else but the alarm button on the key fob for my BS is SO sensitive that i find the alarm going off all the time just while it is riding around in a front pocket! Home, work, out to a restaurant.... the dang thing keeps going off on me. Honestly, i'd like to throw the...
When using remote start on my ‘23 BS Heritage Trim (not the Limited), the heat or a/c always come on, regardless of whether the climate control is set to “Auto” or not. I’m guessing there has to be a setting somewhere in the guts of the system to control that.
First off... i sort of dislike tech and truly despise (mostly) the direction it is headed, but put up with it. It's just a more sophisticated snake oil pitch, as far as i'm concerned. If Ford wants to track my location or send me ads based on my location, good luck. I'm not worth tracking...
