  1. Default to Eco Mode : DIY How-To

I believe cylinder deactivation occurs in Eco mode, which would explain why I get very good highway gas mileage.
  2. Bronco Sport Wildtrack having fun at Rey Park (Off-road amusement park near Buenos Aires)

That’s a safety feature that manufacturers had to implement after the ā€œunintended acceleration ā€œ accidents a few years back.
  3. Safe lite quoting $2,200 for windshield replacement!?

The cost of the windshield also depends on the options of the vehicle. Auto wipers requires a different windshield, for example. Then there’s the calibration of the cameras for the AEB system.
  4. What a difference 91 octane makes in the 2.0 motor.

A lot of modern cars will try to squeeze every ounce of performance out of their engines, especially if those engines are relatively small. One way of doing this is by constantly adjusting the engine timing. With higher octane gasoline, that adjustment can stay nearer the ā€œperformanceā€ range...
  5. MILES TO EMPTY READING

Itā€˜s not that the computer keep changing its mind about how many miles you have remaining, it’s that your MPG change, which changes your miles to empty. When you fill your tank your miles to empty is based on the current average MPG. As far as gallons remaining at zero: do you have a reference...
  6. Twin Turbo

Source? I’d love to read that article. ?
  7. Weird noises

I’ve heard my rear cargo floor rattle a few times, and the center rear seatbelt rattle when the windows are down and air is moving it around, but other than that I’ve not heard anything else, IIRC. As far as electrical sounds after shutdown, this has been discussed before. The headlights have...
  8. Twin Turbo

    1) It would be cheaper and way easier to just buy a BS that has the larger engine. 2) The engine bay is rather cramped. I’m not sure where you’d put an extra turbo and it’s associated plumbing.
  9. Customize Information Screen?

You can select different screens to view, but you can’t modify any of them.
  10. Silly Question about Turbos

I’m not sure this is true with most modern cars. In an effort to squeeze out as much performance as possible, I’m pretty sure that the engine ECU is constantly adjusting timing with the help of the knock sensor. If that’s true, then the ECU can figure out what octane it’s dealing with shortly...
  11. Silly Question about Turbos

The problem with higher altitudes is not a lack of oxygen, (which is what I think you meant) it’s that the atmospheric pressure is much lower. As a result the concentration of oxygen is lower. A turbo can overcome this by cramming more air into the engine, thus ā€œconcentratingā€ it again for you...
  12. Are there any improvements on the 22's vs the 21's, or just downgrades?

Better and worse are subjective terms. Different is more appropriate. Besides, at least some of this can be attributed to supply chain issues. Should Ford just stop building cars for now?
  13. Are there any improvements on the 22's vs the 21's, or just downgrades?

The auto start/ stop is dependent on a variety of things, like cabin temperature and AC settings, battery state, and electrical demand.
  14. Should I switch to premium fuel?

You asked for verification that a modern vehicle could get better MPG running on premium. You got it. Don’t be so picky?
  15. Sales-Bronco Sport Gear panel decoration & Armrest box organizer

I purchased both of these items plus the window switch and radio trims and I’m really happy with them. They all fit perfectly and look great.
