It’s possible , if the weather is cold enough, , for the auto-start stop to be temperature disabled due to it’s algorithm to allow heating/ defrost to continue un interrupted.

Interesting because both use the same 8F35 transmission … but possibly the power curve of the 2.0 interacts with the transmission differently.

There’s no reason not to trust the 1.5 dragon. It’s a proven engine with millions in service. You will see more complaints about the 1.5 simply because there are many times more BS sold with the 1.5 power plant vs the 2.0. You need to decide if the difference to upgrade to the 2.0 is worth...
